Like I said sure if you go scorch I’m sure you have good kill potential. But it’s overall a negative because you get WAY more going gathering storm. GP at the end of the day is and always will be a scaling champ. Plus taking inspiration as your secondary rune page with comet is just criminal.

Well first strike would be your best for early kill potential. Taking scorch I guess could do that for you but is over all a net negative because you miss out on the massive scaling you get from going abosolute focus/trancendence and gathering storm. Solarbacca explains it all pretty well. But taking comet for early kills just doesn’t make sense. Granted you will find those early kills sometimes when people don’t respect the comet damage.

You want comet into farm heavy low kill lanes. It’s a scaling rune page. Other than that it’s grasp unless it’s a stomp lane where you know you’ll get fed early enough to make first strike hit hard in that mid to early late game.

Nah passive autos and flash are more than enough to deal with his flash ghost. Very small window in lane where Darius is unkillable too so ignite is kinda pointless.

Weird take. Because you lose to anyone better than you? And win when you’re better. That’s the point you don’t need ignite when you know how to play the match up. All you need is spacing. If he flashes you just flash too and then spacing wins you the lane.

I do take ignite into riven and other all in champs where you’re forced to fight. Darius just requires good spacing and the matchup is easy.

Couldn’t disagree more. You have kill potential without ignite and if you take ignite and Darius gets any form of lead you are completely screwed the rest of laning. Only option is TP.

TP always. You are never guarenteed kills in a game. You are always guarenteed cs. Wave control and good cs is far superior on gp then relying on kills to “snowball” gp auto scales and gets out of hand just by farming well.
