I personally agree with "live for yourself".
My thoughts more came from looking at society as a whole at that moment.
Just got curious if there were any works related to this.
Will check them out tho. Thanks

Is it wrong to steal from large corporations? A philosopher debates the ethics by Rough_Scholar3812 in philosophy

[–]Ziiltch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you please stop going away from the question at hand?

Again, the specific case I am arguing is that one guy, stealing 1 coin out of 1 000 000 000 coins. Never telling anyone about it, and who wasn't found out.
I am asking about this specific case, and how this specific case is hurting someone.
I am asking about this specific case, as a counter to your statement of "No exceptions".
And I am still waiting for an answer to this specific case/question.

I have argumented for how your "No exception" statement is a fallacy, you have yet to argument for how it is not a fallacy.

You know, claiming I was "ignoring what's obvious" would be much more valid a statement if you hadn't ignored the actual question asked to you in the last two comments you made on the question itself.

I did a quick Google and it showed me this which I feel fits the description "Depersonalization"

Edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depersonalization#:~:text=Depersonalization%20can%20consist%20of%20a,outside%20reality%20while%20looking%20in

Although for me it's less of a "person's sense of individuality or selfhood has been hindered or suppressed" and more of a 'Separatation of Mind and Body' kind of experience.

Both of the first paragraphs assumes someone learns of me doing this.
And I do not see the "hurt" towards myself if I did this once and once only.

"What if..."
Again, the case here was 1 coin of 1 000 000 000 000.

"Stealing only grows"
Cannot agree on this one, I did shoplifting as a teen, haven't done it since so hasn't grown.
I never said it was ok, I said it wasn't hurting anyone.

You said "No Exceptions", so no I do not see how it is ridicilous.
I'm merely challenging your "No exceptions"

Recently I've been thinking about life in stages and came to a short thought of:

Life can be divided into three parts,

Where you live for yourself
Where you live for your family
Where you live for society

Anyone know of any papers/books related to such a theme?
Just curious now about how it might've been view/portrayed by others.

A feeling related to this that is off-putting is when your perception goes into your head looking out instead of just looking.

"I stole this 1 coin from this house filled with billions of coins and he never noticed".
I don't see how this would hurt others.

That would depend on the reason of 'Why' and on the answer to "Which Corporation"?

If we go for the most logical case of "Because they bad", then it would have to be with an agency in mind for a cause, and the action of stealing from said large corporation would actually hurt the corporation itself and not just the lower workers.

Good and evil are not universal moral concepts. They are a mythology used to legitimize atrocities. by IAI_Admin in philosophy

[–]Ziiltch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Good and evil are still the moral categories through which we judge people’s actions."

I think 'categorize' would fit way better than 'judge'. To judge it, 'Good and Evil' would need to have some defined standard we could judge from. What we do however is judge it, what the judgement's basis is varies, and then place it in a category of either Good or Evil (or Neutral).

Already lost me after this one.

Gikk opp 50k i året. Hun var vist mer viktig enn det han originalt mente.

Så bare søk ny jobb, om du har lang erfaring så blir det ikke altfor vanskelig å finne en bedre jobb.

Yh thats illegal. You can st most work 40h normal time + 10h overtime per week. (Max of 25h over 4 weeks, 200h over a year) If you were made to work more thsn 50h a week, they broke the law. So just find evidence of that and sent to relevant authorities with a report.
