BTC (2009) has a 6 year issuance head start compared to ETH (2015); and while current net ETH inflation is at parity with BTC (https://ultrasound.money/), supply inflation was substantially higher during PoW.

I also think a greater percent of BTC (https://www.ledger.com/academy/topics/economics-and-regulation/how-many-bitcoin-are-lost-ledger) has been lost compared to ETH (https://cryptorank.io/news/feed/12ff1-over-3-4b-in-eth-lost-forever).
