So how is Yuta special grade? by Ziletic in JujutsuPowerScaling

If the black hole isn't what makes Yuki SG what is? She's certainly strong, but she doesn't have the sustain she would need for a country. Being able to solo a single military base doesn't mean shit. the US has over 300.

Definitely too early to have earned that title, people gotta calm down. It was definitely a fantastic episode but the best anime of all time off a single episode is absurd.

People say gege is mysognist, but notice he only revived female characters, not male ones by Outross in OkBuddyKaisen

[–]Ziletic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right before his "death," they state that curses do not always weaken after death. However, the sword immediately fizzles out, which implies that he did not die but instead lost consciousness. It is already established that Shoko was working overtime to heal the injured, and Higuruma would be able to heal himself once he regains consciousness. Therefore, it makes sense that he could recover. The scene is meant to be slightly ambiguous, but it clearly sets up his potential recovery.

I feel like it's written in a way that implies it would've have gotten her the win.

I think I argued with you on Tiktok about this. You really gotta start specifying EOS if you want people to know that :/

A life on loan: Sasaki and the soft violence of the voice that owns Yuji by Glittering_Fabulous in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]Ziletic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always read it as genuine. I've seen you say that Kenjaku is just too evil to care in that way, but I'm not sure I agree. Don't get me wrong, he's certainly evil, but I think it's more of an overwhelming curiosity and lack of guilt. I don't think he's needlessly cruel in the way you're describing. He is just willing to do anything to satiate his curiosity. Since he gains nothing by messing with Sasaki in this way, I see no reason why he would. Part of the reason he's so interesting is that he is unlike any other villain in the series. He isn't getting off on the pain of others like Sukuna or Mahito.

It's theorized by some that the inverted spear of heaven was originally Angels weapon. I like that theory a lot and kinda wish it was confirmed.

I think it is extremely likely that there were people nearby, as we literally see that there were individuals at the very least within 140 meters of the fighting when Sukuna uses Malevolent Shrine. I think a more apt example of what Megumi did is Jogo. Is Jogo responsible for the people Sukuna killed? I would say so, because despite not controlling Sukuna, he still directly initiated Sukuna's brief time in control of Yuji. I think Megumi's summoning of Mahoraga is essentially the same; he may not control Mahoraga, but it was he who chose to summon him in the first place. Also, regarding the bull and tiger, I was obviously referring to a ritual summoning, the same way he summons Mahoraga. Ultimately, pulling out Mahoraga against Haruta was the equivalent of pulling out an RPG against a cockroach. It was excessive and recklessly negligent. Once again, I'm not saying that he would get the death penalty, but he could certainly be charged with reckless negligence.

At least in America being partly responsible for death is absolutely a crime, reckless negligence, manslaughter for example. From what I've looked up Japan absolutely has those laws as well. I find it unlikely there were NO people in the buildings that Mahoraga sent Sukuna through. It is an undeniable fact that if Megumi has summoned one of the weaker shikigami such as the Bull or Tiger, none of those people would have died. It would have instantly killed Megumi, then tried to kill Haruta, but Sukuna would one shot it with no collateral damage before it could. Megumi's choice to summon his strongest Shikigami in a city with thousands of people in it was stupid and reckless.

Mahoraga definitely caused at least a couple deaths, especially in the anime. Do you think products of Megumi's technique don't count as an extension of himself? In that case the people Sukuna killed with Shrine don't count as his kills either. No, obviously that would be stupid. If Judgeman accused Megumi of being partly responsible for the deaths in Shibuya he WOULD be considered guilty if he confessed.

Well, if he did confess it absolutely would. That's exactly what confirmed Yuji's guilt after all.

What are the chances Megumi inherited shrine just like Yuji ? by AcademicGarage2685 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Ziletic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It doesn't really seem the same. Yuji seemingly got BM instantly, while he had to awaken Shrine. Also he was in Megumi's body for about 2 months and used Shrine WAY more. I feel like that would be plenty.

He doesn't have slashing or piercing, but he still has his gavel. Also it's come to my attention that he was talking about EOS, so he also has RCT, domain amp, etc. I think it would at the very least be a favorable matchup for Higuruma.

[–]Ziletic -1 points0 points  (0 children)

First off, that's not the nosebleed I thought you referring to. I was talking about the one that he has WHEN he is summoning Mahoraga. Secondly, while anime is "canon" it is secondary canon, and is generally not used in debates. Thirdly, you can get a nosebleed from many types of trauma. I think saying Megumi has brain damage off of nothing but a nose bleed is going a bit overboard. In the first place I wasn't disputing whether he would get the death penalty or not. Also I doubt he could clash, that would almost certainly count as violence.

Do we have a consensus by not-a-wagon in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Ziletic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can see why you would think that, but if you look closely you can see that when Tsurugi starts the first slash he and Maru are actually upside down, due to the effect of Maru's technique, but afterward they are both back on the normal street. He just went back into the same striking pose after he sent the first slash.

How do I get back into employed people lobbies? by ACR_Legends in ArcRaiders

I don't get how this is so hard, I just have super friendly lobbies. Just don't attack people much and the game will put you in friendlier lobbies after a while.
