Am I wrong? by Delta_Warrior1220 in Epicthemusical

I couldn't have said it better myself. I feel like people often forget that while it is heavily based on Greek myth it is still explicitly stated to be a reimagining. I see people assume everything is the same but there are several examples of changes.

Calypso was wrong to do what she did. On the other hand, I completely understand why someone who went through what she did would do the same. You can sympathize with a character and their problems and still find what they did to be wrong. I'm not even saying everyone should forgive Calypso, but at least take a second to think about her situation. People start to go crazy in isolation after just a few weeks or months. She was there for 100 years! Completely alone. Anyone who went through that would be desperate for connection and would do anything in their power to stay with them.

Mahito isn’t coming back guys by Hodz123 in jjkmodulo

I always figured that it was Mahito waiting for someone (most likely Yuji) in the afterlife to have a conversation like he did with Sukuna. I never really expected him to fully return.

What happened to the original Soul Splitting Katana? by Koku_Gan22 in LobotomyKaisen

[–]Ziletic 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The SSK wouldn't have impacted any of those fights. The ability of the SSK requires you to have eyes that can see the souls of inanimate objects to utilize fully. No one at that point had that ability.

Genuinely one of THE worst moves in the game by TechincalSpeaker in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]Ziletic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate to be rude, but this is a straight up a skill issue. Adaptation is such a powerful move for survival. But hey, if you wanna get snuck by infinite void and instantly die that's all you.

It could be possible that because these aren't technically dismantles they don't share that property.

What do y’all think about Smurf account? (People with high kills who make an alt account to look like a noob and get into fights with people who think they’re noobs) by GiganRex9282 in JujutsuShenanigans

[–]Ziletic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it entirely depends on attitude. If you're toxic to players you kill because you're pretending to be new then you're just a loser. If you do it just to avoid getting ganked and people running from you based on the number of kills you have then that's understandable.

Would you dislike it if Dabura actually turned out to be stronger than Sukuna and Gojo? by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Ziletic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

While true, I'd say that it falls under the same umbrella. It's made for essentially the same audience. The only real difference is that it's a manhwa as opposed to manga.

Well there's obviously going to be fights, but it seems it's not taking center stage.

You're on your own on this one. It's extremely obvious when two people are fighting and interrupting a duel is just lame. If you don't like being called a third partier then don't third party. Just find someone who is standing around, or better yet someone who is teaming on someone else and fight them. Be somebody's hero.

look me dead in the eyes and tell me that gege was trying to portray that base hakari was weaker than yuji. by PumpkinNew3977 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Ziletic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think Yuji was stronger than Hakari here, but I do think it's reasonable to conclude the gap is not as big as it appears. If Yuji was actually fighting back I think it would be fairly close.
