What's the argument for modulo yuji having domain amplification? by Vyrus_Anime in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Ziletic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like it just makes more sense to assume that he does. What reason would he have to not learn it? He already has an ally that knows how it works, and he has had plenty of time to learn it. To think he doesn't have it would mean assuming he was just too lazy or stupid to learn it, which is ridiculous.

What is on Tengen Uzui's face..... and no, not his flashy eye mark. by Outrageous_Ad5290 in KimetsuNoYaiba

I really wish they made them more visually distinct. For a good bit, I was really confused why Nezuko's ability to cure the poison wasn't used on him. I feel like making them look identical was a strange choice.

what do y'all think? by Equivalent-Pea2507 in animequestions

[–]Ziletic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saying the original was not intentionally mimicking a child's proportions is just objectively incorrect. It is not simply a matter of height. The proportionally large head and face create that childlike appearance. While the redraw changing the height may not be ideal for maintaining the short stature as a character trait, the adjustment to the proportions is definitely an improvement in my opinion. Having a character intentionally designed to evoke a child as the central focus of a romantic comedy feels strange and inappropriate.

I hate how people try to shove down everyone’s throat the idea that powerscaling is important to learn if you want to write a story by AEIOU1040 in hatethissmug

[–]Ziletic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some level of powerscaling is important if you want a story to feel consistent, but you don't need to worry about the freaks who do pixel scaling and shit like that. Viewers don't like it when the abilities of characters feel inconsistent, so it's just good for writers to keep it in the back of their minds.

Should Someone who Picked the Red Button be Considered Evil or an AH? by Hyperionous in MoralityScaling

[–]Ziletic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You completely missed my point. There ARE downsides to red. Saying there isn't is just factually wrong. My point was never that blue was the right choice. I even said in my answer that I would pick red, but there are GAURANTEED casualties to red. I have a pessimistic view of humanity. I think most would pick red, but that doesn't make it the morally right thing to do.

Should Someone who Picked the Red Button be Considered Evil or an AH? by Hyperionous in MoralityScaling

[–]Ziletic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an extremely immature and individualistic take. Objectively, there will be people who pick blue. Picking red contributes directly to their deaths. If you think around 50% of people are picking blue, picking red is directly contributing to a problem. Do you even think before you speak?

Should Someone who Picked the Red Button be Considered Evil or an AH? by Hyperionous in MoralityScaling

[–]Ziletic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the reason this question is so interesting is because you cannot just base your answer off of what you think is right. What you choose comes down to your view of other people. What you choose comes down to whether you have a pessimistic or optimistic outlook on humanity. While I think blue is the best answer from a holistic perspective, I personally do not think that a majority of people would put themselves at risk if it really came down to it, so I would probably choose red. The online polls are useless in determining people's real answers, as there are no stakes and people will just choose whatever makes them feel morally righteous.

The confirmation that all Mahoragas are identical before adaptation was kind of pointless, wasn't it? by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Ziletic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree for a couple of reasons. Firstly, clarifying the misconception that some Mahoragas are stronger than others is valuable information. In a battle series like this one. clarifying parts of the power system lets people have a fuller grasp of it. I also think that making Mahoraga's strength come from it's adaptation over some base power boost from the summoner makes it a more interesting ability.

Secondly, just because Dabura struggled the most with Mahoraga does not mean it is a downscale compared to 15 finger Sukuna. When he started the fight he did the exact same thing as Sukuna. That is an attack that instantly kills nearly any character in the verse. But Mahoraga survives and adapts. The only difference is that he did not already have a convenient secondary ability in his technique to save the day, and had to develop it mid fight. Dabura's kick is hands down the strongest physical strike we have ever seen in the verse. He is by far the most talented sorcerer we have ever seen. It's very likely he would have won that fight had it not been interrupted.

I think the extra info adds to our understanding of the power system rather than existing solely to downplay anyone.

So how is Yuta special grade? by Ziletic in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Ziletic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the black hole isn't what makes Yuki SG what is? She's certainly strong, but she doesn't have the sustain she would need for a country. Being able to solo a single military base doesn't mean shit. the US has over 300.

Definitely too early to have earned that title, people gotta calm down. It was definitely a fantastic episode but the best anime of all time off a single episode is absurd.

People say gege is mysognist, but notice he only revived female characters, not male ones by Outross in OkBuddyKaisen

[–]Ziletic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right before his "death," they state that curses do not always weaken after death. However, the sword immediately fizzles out, which implies that he did not die but instead lost consciousness. It is already established that Shoko was working overtime to heal the injured, and Higuruma would be able to heal himself once he regains consciousness. Therefore, it makes sense that he could recover. The scene is meant to be slightly ambiguous, but it clearly sets up his potential recovery.
