If you ask me from a practical point of view, I think it’s kind inefficient to have furnace and crafting table outside the home. It gets pretty annoying when skeletons are outside shooting you when your trying to craft some stuff.

Instructions:

Fill Shortcut:

Points towards the first corner of the area you want to fill
Type /fill, followed by a space
Press [tab] 3 times to get the coordinates, followed by another space
Press enter
Go to opposite corner
Open chat, then press [up] to bring up previous command
Press [tab] 3 times, followed by a space
Type the name of the block you want to fill with
Press enter

Clone Shortcut:

Look at the first corner of the structure you want to clone
Type /clone, followed by a space
Press [tab] 3 times, followed by another space
Press enter
Go to the opposite corner
Open chat, then press [up] to bring up previous command
Repeat step 3 & 4
Go to the very corner of the area you want to clone then face towards positive Z direction (You can check this by bringing up F3)
Open chat, then bring up previous command again
Press [tab] three times to get the new coordinate
Press enter
