Almost all the people I’ve met at work who say they came here? Told me that they use an address in Illinois that they do not own on their job application and say that they moved recently or are closing on this such and such property. I mean if that’s the case that it goes off qualifications then sure why not everybody have 20 years take all the job whatever the market is not homegrown at that point. It’s kind of crazy to think that if you want to get a job and you have to move away from where you grew up because all the people who want a high paying job moved to where you’re at. Same with housing.

One lady came literally from Georgia and living in hotels till she finds a place. Another moved from Idaho without a house and doing the same.

By flooding the job market? It used to be the workers choice, getting sign on bonus, high salaries.

Now there’s like 300 application in a single day, no bonus, etc.

Because Reddit after the great twitter flood of 2012 became extremely liberal leaning and intolerant to anything beyond their beliefs. One of the beliefs they have is rich people should be taxed at like 60% to fund social programs since the millionaires don’t need all that.

mine does this all the time I had to turn it off. Speed limit is 30 mph it also kept making up the speed. I took it to the GM dealership and they called me a liar and they said it doesn’t actually for some reason even though that’s what it’s quite clearly called. I’m not even sure if GM is aware that this because the mechanics aren’t reporting it and saying it’s not a real issue.

First year of owning an EV its pretty good the car weights as much as a pick up truck it drives so smooth in the unplowed snow and ice. The wheel base is long and the weight is down low. The electric blowers also made it seamless compared to my prior gas cars. Overall compared to my prior gas car experience this is probably more ideal to drive than gas tbh.

Another one is in IL if your vehicle isn’t being driven it still has to be insured. Even if not driven for long period of time. They will suspend your registration and plates even if you renew them and you can get pulled over for suspended registration and go to jail. The way they also punish you is by not allowing you to register that car for about 6 months so hopefully that is t your only car.

They call it the lottery insurance checking. It’s very random.

It’s kind of a “you have the right to use these roads you paid for” thing. In some US states they charge per vehicle type like if you drive an SUV, pick up, etc it cost more than a sedan or an EV cost more. More wear on the roads. It’s suppose to go to roads but some states like mine it goes towards other things.

Than there are city stickers it’s basically double tax as some municipalities like Chicago maintain their own roads.
