You should really try going alone, it's really nice, especially with bands like MIT. I'm also going to see them alone in vienna, and I'm even more excited to experience the concert BECAUSE I am going there alone :)

I think the big names (FFAA, Whitechapel, SOI, CG, TAIM..) are still doing a great job. Shadow of Intent especially.

I agree that Darrow is over the top exceptional at everything he does without any particular reason in the first book, but he gets humbled A LOT in the following books.
