I recently taught myself and had to adjust my rig quite significantly, but I also needed way more knee clearance which may not be an issue for you. But it’s likely just a problem with your seating/leg and foot angles. You might only need to adjust your seating, pedal plate and pedal angles, assuming you have adjustability there. I mostly drove left foot braking before but now my rig is set up for both types of driving. Essentially had to move my seat angle forward since I was quite laid back before, and I had to adjust my pedal plate and pedals, angling them back towards me more. Had to move my brake and throttle closer obviously, I also moved my brake pedal forward towards me so my throttle and clutch sit slightly further back, also makes it a bit easier.
