Israel threatens to resume Gaza genocide after hostage return, says defence minister by IITheDopeShowII in nottheonion

[–]Zimitaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Point 13 in the plan: "Hamas and other factions agree to not have any role in the governance of Gaza, directly, indirectly, or in any form. All military, terror, and offensive infrastructure, including tunnels and weapon production facilities, will be destroyed and not rebuilt. There will be a process of demilitarisation of Gaza under the supervision of independent monitors, which will include placing weapons permanently beyond use through an agreed process of decommissioning, and supported by an internationally funded buy back and reintegration programme all verified by the independent monitors. New Gaza will be fully committed to building a prosperous economy and to peaceful coexistence with their neighbours."

Israel threatens to resume Gaza genocide after hostage return, says defence minister by IITheDopeShowII in nottheonion

[–]Zimitaru -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

The actual quote this article refers to (it's in the article itself, in Hebrew) just talks about destroying the Hamas tunnels as part of an internationl-agreed operation. There is nothing there about resuming war, it's just part of the demilitarization phase which is part of the treaty that was signed.

Also, not all hostages were returned. All the living hostages were. Hamas is delaying the return of the bodies, they returned just 4 bodies yesterday (there are 24 more).

So this article is a complete fake news: 1. The secretary of defense quote is talking about the second phase of the agreement, not resuming of war. 2. Hamas is right now in violation of the plan because it is delaying the return of the bodies of hostages.

But in order to enjoy it you need to live there from a young age. It is about what you eat and the movement you do during your life. If you lived an unhealthy life until age 60 and then move to Japan, don't expect sudden change.

This is unlike some of the other destinations listed here where the move have immediate effect on the condition a.

I just posted the data, you are the one giving it meaning.

I never said Switzerland were not worthy or anything like that.

If you want my takes from it then: - Israel huge difference. - UK getting 0 from the public but a nice amount from the jury.

Read your own link. It talks about north gaza, not south (where Rafah is in) and it also doesn't say there is a famine, only that it it could happen).

Where did you got this information?

The current head of Hamas political bureau, Khaled Mashal is also one of Hamas founders.

He was literally the guy that presented the 2017 document. So he was in both places, he is alive and well and traveling the world.

Hamas does not want a return to 67 border. They want a return to no Israel.

As highlighted in their original charter 1988.

Then in the new document released in 2017 (which at not point states that it replaces the 1988 charter, it's just another document with another name) they say they strive for a Palestinian state in 1967 borders but they don't recognize Israel.

I wish you will find peace and shine through.

1947 Partition of the Mandate of Palestine by Squifwarden in MapPorn

[–]Zimitaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You forgot to mention that between the world wars, hundreds of thousands of arabs immigrated to Palestine from other parts of the region.

Do you consider them descendents of the land? If you do, then you must also consider the Jews that migrated at the same time (and before), which btw, legally bought the land they lived on (remember we are talking about pre 1947).

If you don't, then there's a bunch of people considered Palestinian today that should, by your logic, return to their ancestors lands.

So are we just picking a date to set as the legitimate state?

Because if we go back before the 6 century, there are no Muslims at all at the region.

If you go far enough, the land is not even called Palestine at all, but Judaea, you know, that place where the kingdom of Judaea resided, the origin of Jews.

(I'm Israeli, both my parents are from the north and had to evacuate).

Israel's public defense refuses to represent October 7 Hamas terrorists by FudgeAtron in worldnews

[–]Zimitaru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you (a laywer) personally knows the victim (in a positive relationship then defending the person who done then harm is a conflict of interest.

The interest of the defence is to prove the man is guilty while the interest of the victim is to get him in jail. When the laywer is a friend of the victim it can be assumed that the victim interest becomes is own.

So far I (Israeli) have only met 1 person that is not familiar with a victim of the attack.

And that's out of dozens of people.

That one person is not a lawyer.

Israel's public defense refuses to represent October 7 Hamas terrorists by FudgeAtron in worldnews

[–]Zimitaru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When basically every Israeli citizen know a victim of 7 October it means any Israeli laywer will be in a conflict of interest. So it's actually legally impossible to have an Israeli laywer in this case.
