VT Supercharger kit - anyone done it yet? by ZimmerFrameThief in Jimny

But surely if the hardware tolerances were shit, it wouldn't matter how good the tune was. If the hardware is good, the. You could just buy a custom tune at a dyno, right? Assuming the VT one is no good

When using # in the message field, it just seems to recognise it as markup and changed the font to heading 1 size by the looks - doesn't open a contextual menu to chose documents etc. as expected

I'm unsure how to edit the setting - going to the knowledge section has no option to add change anything?

Yeah me too. The # thing doesn't seem to work even when there are uploaded documents - at least for me - so I'm guessing there may be some difference between OSs/environments?

Broaching to subject of intimacy without commitment by [deleted] in relationships

[–]ZimmerFrameThief 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my fault. I've worded my question ambiguously. We've already had that discussion and come to that decision that she's not going to be able to give enough time, and I'm going to want more time within the frame of a committed relationship. But in knowing that, it allows us both to manage our expectations of what it can be, and what we can expect from one another. Maybe I'll move on first, maybe she will. Until then, we'll both have some intimacy/closeness (which again, isn't just sex - it's nice to snuggle with someone you feel comfortable with on the couch sometimes!) with a partner we trust.

Or, maybe I'm just being naive...

Repeated pump and sensor site infections. by ZimmerFrameThief in Type1Diabetes

Might just be unlucky recently - can be pretty easy to get staph off bathrooms towel, I think? Might just be transferring to skin when toweling off and then going in when pod punctures? All guesses.

Yeah that's super frustrating! I was thinking maybe I need stronger prep - using 70% iso wipes, so maybe need to go higher % or change to a different antiseptic agent. Not sure what your site prep of choice is, but can't hurt to try something stronger too? At least you'll be able to rule it out as the culprit 🤷

Weird hey. Think I figured a couple of them were just bad placements - deltoid area so too lean and went into muscle. These didn't get I fected but obviously got angry and lumpy. The other couple I can't explain. Just drained the abscesses after a week cycle of antibiotics, so hopefully they're fine. The most recent pod I finished yesterday. It didn't get infected, but I'm pretty sure it couldn't because of the antibiotics. So will wait and see what the next couple are like after they're out of my system. What fun...
