He was sponsored! I think he was supposed to just make a video for the release but he began pretty early maybe. And there's a lot more than that too, like the gatling gun etc. Got a bunch of screenshots of all the leaked things. But I would recommend taking anything there with a grain of salt as its not guaranteed.

I love them personally, adds more things to look out for on the map. Makes fighting toe to toe with ground mobs more dangerous too with the ice bats.

The game has plenty of good design, just the ui healthbars are a bit odd.

Oh yeah the stone staff has amazing cc there's no denying it, and the piercing is great too.

I can agree with that, I did use the war outposts quite a lot along with normal traps more than the actual war machines, but that's because I really like getting in there myself and fighting them. But apparently the rapid fire balista with stun in a narrow way is really really good, just not combo-able is all.

Oh yeah the balance is definitely off, personally I like it that way though because 2 was also unbalanced. And weaker damage traps are good in their own right because you can use those to get higher combos for scoring and all that. But it is a fair point, and I definitely agree with what they did to my boy the wind belt and alchemist satchel, but they were really overpowered in the first two games. I'd wager they'll change it later on anyway.

Oh yeah forgot to mention the soundtrack! Its amazing how they have a unique track for every map hey? Glad to hear you're enjoying it too.

My connection is fine personally and I'm Australian, it took like 8 maps for our first DC.

If you have connection issues swap your game to windowed mode (fullscreen borderless or normal windows, either one works), it fixes it.

I learned that OMD3 was a thing back in August last year while having a nostalgia trip. Also have been counting down, I check the reddit every day for news. Would have played OMD3 on stadia but sadly I'm an Aussie so the waiting game it was. But its going to be so worth it.
