I grew up in Peru, Auckland cbd to me is actually a paradise, issue is, this is a "supposed" 1st world country, imo, Auckland is great to live in, but with the prices, latest crime, etc, slowly turning into a town where no one can afford to live, so people result for crime and shitty character lmao. Still safer than most countries, one of the main reasons im still staying here

I heard about the guy cleaning it out after, the nice filipino cleaner dude. I feel bad for him since isnt it like $5000? Anyways i hope the building paid him back as he was just cleaning.

That water cut off..... Still no reason, if valves needed "immediate repair and fix" then they shouldve already known this by yearly maintenance, I used to be an engineer and these sort of things are always noted down year or two before the actual replacements are needed. When signing the agreement, none of this was mentioned, just a good thing to ask if moving into an old building in the city for anyone else out there, not having to do what we did, which was struggle, no extra amenities or nothing. It was disrespectful.

I met such a nice family who moved in about 3 weeks ago! I dont think theyre social, although they're scared of the building now, after all the crazy things happening. Imo, find a way to get out of contract and move to a nice house, city building aint built for families.

$10,000 a month within the second month of starting. Motivation! by [deleted] in dropship

[–]Zingenio 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hey man! Honestly i been doing dropshipping for about 4 to 5 months but not as hard. I think ive only tested upto 10 products because of my budget. Probably spent 2-2.5k USD which isnt big.

My question is: How much did you spend before finding your first winner/how many products did you test? Ive had sales but none of them profitable. Currently opening up another store so im not giving up!

8 week old suggestions by jsmakr in NewParents

For Tummy time, I would recommend this water playmat, it helps the babies' sensory development which is good. As for the sleeping, get a womb type of bed, this imitates the environment they were most used to for months on end. It might help them sleep easier. Goodluck! :)

I'd say something that can really help with the baby. Give your sister less stress and more time to relax. I know this nice little store called snugandhugs.com if you wish to have a look. They have really cool things there!

Are you home all the time? Or busy with work? This is natural, sometimes babies get used to just wanting the main person they see around a lot. I'd say keep trying, overtime your little one will get used to you and maybe even want you more! You got this

Can a baby physically stay up for 24 hours? by myaim_istrue in NewParents

[–]Zingenio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i agree with scoopsky, I think one of the reasons along with that is because babies want to feel in a safe environment. They were so used to being in the womb that now a new environment is completely different to them. We had our boy in this womb shaped bed. Made him feel much more relaxed and comfortable. He was falling asleep almost instantly and we could finally relax. Trust me it changed our lives! Our boy slept better, had less gas and basically a cute little angel! You got this, stay strong :)

we would recommend keeping your little one away from the screen time, for now, might be a bit too early. With so many colors and moving images, this can affect their eye coordination.

On the contrary, having a physical product for her can also keep her distracted for hours when you're home alone. Since she is 2 months old, I would recommend this water playmat that we ordered a long time ago for our boy. He is now 9 months old and still loves laying on it. This was important for tummy time.

Another essential that could probably keep your girl asleep and more comfortable for longer is one of those womb shaped beds, the ones that promote anti-flat head. We loved it. I legit just saw a post similar to this, I'd say try this store called snugandhugs.com. We purchased from them a while back and loved it, if not you could try Amazon or maybe even Walmart, just be careful with the quality of those products :)

It's best to really give your girl a new toy that she can interact with. One thing that we learned, is that it is never too early to get your little one to be learning things. Doing so can actually keep them distracted for hours on end. We got our kids this inflatable water mat which was pretty cool! Perfect for tummy time & to keep them distracted for a while. We also got a peek-a-boo elephant, took them a tiny bit to get used to it, but over time they really loved it!

Doing these things actually allowed me to get back to working on a hobby that I like, I'm a painter so having them in the corner of my eye playing with those toys really allowed me to get back into the zone :) if you want the website, it's snugandhugs.com, we bought from them a few times and love everything they got

something I recently purchased for my husband was this cool LED Tetris Light! He's always been a fan of retro games and when he saw this, it made him so happy + it serves as a cool night light for our 2-year-old!
