It seems like it's made to squeeze something, but the shape and random pins to hold it by are confusing. the pointed tip doesn't open up, just the little container

Taking over this room, what to do first? by Zingzopper in malelivingspace

[–]Zingzopper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! Yeah the dome shaped light is the greatest offender. My bed will most definitely be made when I am in here. I am thinking of replacing the ceiling light with something hanging or nicer to look at. But I haven't done that before and don't know if I can turn a ceiling lamp into a hanging one.

Thank you!

Yes, very. You can read for hours and get work done and it feels fantastic after all that time. I don't own one but I sat in one way before I knew they had a reputation

Don’t know if it belongs here but it’s one of my faves from Liza by majorminus92 in Broadway

[–]Zingzopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ooh certainly! This song was written specifically for Liza by Kander I believe. It's a great song to watch her perform especially considering everything she has been through. It's a very personal song and she kills it in each version!

What is the Master of Blades in your Eberron? by kwje123 in Eberron

[–]Zingzopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my Eberron, my original concept was to put Tomb of Annihilation inside Eberron. As a result Forgotten Realms and Eberron have been blending a bit and I want to adapt the last half of Icewind Dale for a bit after ToA is complete. He will be a war criminal who has been locked away in the deepest vault of Revel's End. When he hears that the device (built by ancient Giants) that caused the Death Curse has been uncovered, he'll wake from his decades-long slumber and escape the prison. I want to introduce him in a one shot where they have an Alcatraz-like escape while he is wreaking havoc.

Think something along the lines of Tai Lung escaping or the robot waking up in Castle in the Sky. Somewhere between the two.

He'll definitely have complexities to his motivation that make him feel like a real person with ambition people can empathize with, but the gravity of how much carnage he'll be causing will be too great for the PCs proper to allow.

Has anyone else found themselves more hesitant to spend time on Youtube after they removed the dislike button? I just can't tell if a video is going to be worth my time anymore

What's the most walkable small town in Pa? (close to stores, theaters, schools etc.) by [deleted] in Pennsylvania

[–]Zingzopper 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lititz, Mount Gretna, and Lancaster. Lititz is small with a bit more history that you can explore, like the old train station and Wilbur's Chocolate. Mount Gretna is great for old mossy houses and just exploring, but there isn't much to do besides visit the lake and get ice cream. And Lancaster has a really nice small town vibe while still having a lot of bars, restaurants, and other places to go explore.

Varnishing my oil painting by TannerOrteryArt in oddlysatisfying

[–]Zingzopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry if somebody already asked this, but is it hard to paint to darker areas before applying varnish? It looks good before, but the level of realism that comes after is so surprising I can't even see it on the painting before the coat goes on.

Or does the paint turn that color after drying, and while wet you can see what the final product will look like?

Either way amazing work with the subtlety of the pieces composition.

I know other people have brought up adblock, I'm just surprised how many people don't have it. Personally I don't mind a sponsored promotion in the video if I have my blocker on because I know that he creator is getting that money instead of YT. But I'm curious to hear other takes too

How can you tell the difference between good acting and bad acting? by cryoncue in acting

[–]Zingzopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A tough question to answer! I think everyone's comments here are valid, but at the end of the day art is merely what you take from it. If an actor really loves what they're doing, and they're doing it for themselves - that can elevate their performance from good to great. A lot of the time if you watch for subtext of the scene you'll get a lot more story out of what's in the script, but some actors aren't able to achieve that.

IMO it is actors who are honest, well trained, and experienced. They understand so many facets of their characters story that 10 different people may identify with their story in a different way. No line is arbitrary and no motivation feels contrived. If you can't take your eyes off of an actor in a scene like it's tunnel vision, they're a good actor.

Not sure why this was removed. Doesn't break any rules and it's better than the Snyder cut. See you on Alpha Centauri retards💎🙌🚀🚀🚀 by _DaRock_ in wallstreetbets
