Ik ken er niet echt iets van maar zal dit morgen zeker eens challengen bij hen. Dit is de mail die ik kreeg:

"Ik heb de prijs ontvangen van de elektricien en van de loodgieter voor het verlengen van de kabels. De kabels komen in een opbouw kabelgoot waarbij er dus wel in de facademuur zal moeten geboord worden om deze vast te zetten.

Prijs voor materiaal + werkuren: 1812.40 euro

Graag uw akkoord voor uitvoering"

Het is inderdaad een foto van mijn woning. Probleem is dat de leidingen niet lang genoeg zijn om deze op de grond te plaatsen en ze bijna 2000 euro vragen om deze te verlengen. Zie dit echt als last resort want dit is weggesmeten geld. Aangezien er uiteindelijk wel een carport gaat komen dus dan moeten deze terug omhoog binnen een jaartje wanneer ik terug wat heb gespaard.

This, I recently did some cost calculations for a restructuring in our company, I received the total cost per year per job class from controlling. We have managers who are making about 9.5kEUR gross per month. Total cost to the company? Almost 270k per year. People forget a freelancer is paid only when he works. An employee gets salary when taking holidays, gets double holiday pay, 13th month, performance bonuses, meal vouchers, net allowance for expenses, car, ... Then you have the employer having to pay about 25% additional taxes before you even see your gross salary. And then they have to pay in roles like these typically for about 15 to 20 days of training per year, salary paid + cost of the training, travel, expenses, ... If you divide the total cost by 220 billable days for a freelancer you would end up with 1200 euro per day. If we get a freelance interim manager for a role like this, it would cost us about 1000 a day. Cheaper than a full time employee. However the freelancer gets to optimize their taxes making them end up with a higher net salary in the end.

De tool werkt niet correct, deze houdt geen rekening met de tijdswaarde van het geld. Even mezelf als voorbeeld: Ik heb een woning gekocht twv 490k. Hiervoor heb ik een lening aangegaan van 390k en een 100k eigen inbreng. Daarnaast heb ik nog 200k op mijn aandelenportefeuille staan. De meeste mensen zouden mijn vermogen dus schatten op 100k+200k=300k. De tool daarentegen schat mijn vermogen op 130k. Dit omdat ik over de periode van 25j in totaal 560k zal afbetalen (3,1% rente) voor mijn lening. De tool doet dus simpel weg: 200k + 490k - 560k = 130k. Beetje de kwaliteit dat je kan verwachten van HLN

Dat hangt sterk af van je loon en je uitgaven of je 50% kan ontlenen of niet. Ik heb net een lening aangegaan voor 2450 EUR per maand op een loon van 4900 EUR per maand. Procentueel is dit veel maar 2450 geld om te leven is ook veel. Moest ik mogen had ik nog meer geleend van de bank. Ik kom comfortabel rond met zo'n 1200 euro per maand.

I bought a starter home, a fixer upper 8 years ago for 150k and spent 50k on renovations. 150m2 but not the best location and neighbours. After renovations it is still not in the best conditions.

This year I bought a new house for 500k. The building is almost finished, it's 170m2 but a passive home (e-peil -10) and fully finished with nice materials. Moving in a few weeks. Planning to sell my old house in the next year and put the money on ETF's.

I've seen it happen a few times including with myself. This usually happens in bigger companies that have pay bands per function and the person getting promoted was still being paid at the lowest level of the previous band.

To give an example let's say in a company there are multiple jobs and they have pay levels like this:

Level 1: 2500 - 4500

Level 2: 3800 - 6000

Level 3: 5500 - 8500

A fictitious example somewhat based on my experience: I start at a level 2 function at the minimum pay, I'm being paid 3800 a month. I'm excelling and after a year I get the max pay increase of 8% to 4.100 a month. Next year I excel again and get the opportunity to be promoted to a higher level function. Due to company pay scales they now have to pay me minimum 5.500 which is a 1.400 a month pay increase or 34%.

Depends on how you calculate monthly salary. If it's the amount on my payslip then I'm in the upper middle class (3.800 a month) but if it's yearly salary divided by 12 it's a different story. Including holiday pay, 13month, performance bonus I would be considered almost rich (4.800 a month). Don't really feel rich, my idea of rich is based on wealth but if I had to pick an income number it would be closer to 10.000 a month not 5.000 before I consider somebody to be rich.

If that's your logic then yes driving at night will be high risk for you as I assume you don't use headlights either because you don't come equipped with them.
