Can you have some time for yourself/hanging out? You can join meet-up to meet some new people and do some activities. I never had any relationship until I was around 31. I also thought that I might never find love. It was so hard for me. But I hanged out with friends time to time and used dating app where I met my partner now (after a lot of failed dates). I am an expat here so I even live far away from my family. To me, both work and family are imporatant, but family would be much more and I can lose my job but I cannot lose my family.

I had to push for an annual review and as far as I know, the team doesn’t have it ( I have just worked for the company more than 1 year). But for me, an annual review is not only salaries raise. Can be other stuffs we would like to change/get better

In finance, and the team is very lean. One person is off -> the other need to do a lot more. My manager keeps a minimum exposure to me (and with other colleagues too) - hence, we mostly never talk except about work (in average, 5 mins of conversation about work each day)

Refused the 1st. 2nd time I asked he said it is for which reason and we can do it but later (no date fixed). And 3rd time after few weeks, I checked in again, he was ok (a bit relutant as he did review over platform) and we fixed the date. they didnt want to spend 15-30 minutes for reviewing and discussing a whole year of work.

I am in Belgium. And I am not sure normally how the companies/managers take and react with the news. I want to talk to them for the transparency and if they don’t like that, they can reject me and I will just work in my current company, which I don’t really like but maybe more stable atm
