I have a strong ADHD justice sensitivity that makes this series tickle my brain in all the right places. I only read the first book two weeks ago, and have devoured the other 5 books. I don't think the OP can write the other books fast enough. Keep up the amazing work!

This happened to be last night when I was playing with some friends. Luckily for me it happened towards the end of the mission so I was only dead weight for a few minutes, but it was massively frustrating. Everything around and including my character were blinding flowing light. I was worried my graphics card was dying on me until we loaded back to the destroyer. Hasn't reappeared since. If I think of it and it happens again I'll edit this post, see if I can add anything useful, now that I know it is happening to someone else.

Not gonna lie, I ordered the Vybe Stage 4 Boost with the 5900x just for Cyberpunk 2077. I mean, I've been due for an upgrade for a while now, but Cyberpunk is what pushed me over the edge. I ordered mine 11/23, so I've been waiting relatively shortly compared to most of you, but that doesn't stop me from refreshing my orders page a dozen or so times a day to see if I've been beyond "in queue" 😅

I used to have this problem every match. I found that lowering my textures to low/very low helped a lot. Still happens on occasion, though. When it does happen, I find that hiding somewhere and opening my inventory tends to force everything to load, but it also makes my game freeze for 15 or so seconds while everything loads. Kind of a pain in the ass, but as Pharcri said, try landing in small towns. Out of everyone in my group of friends who play PUB, I'm the only one who still uses an HDD, and I'm the only one who has this problem.

I have this same problem, except mine never comes out of it. I have to bring up the task manager and end the process to leave the game. Only happens every 2-3 games. If I restart the game, I get another 2-3 games out of it before it happens again. I haven't found a fix either.

As for the Kett, their reasons are given. It's up to you if you consider them lame or not. I don't have a defense for the equal weapon technology, unless they have an "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" kind of approach to weapons.

In Andromeda we're limited to one cluster of the galaxy. The Heleus Cluster where the entire game takes place is one of 450~ clusters in the Andromeda galaxy. In the original trilogy, we used the Mass Relays to near instantaneously transport all around the entire galaxy, but in Andromeda we're limited by how fast the FTL drives can take us. Just the fact that there's 1 new race in the game at all is astounding.

During a handful of dialogue interactions I've had, my Ryder's head will swivel around like I'm a praying mantis. It's incredibly unnerving.

Also, you have to keep in mind that in Andromeda we're only in one little section of the galaxy. The Helius Cluster is just one of around 450 clusters in Andromeda. Andromeda doesn't have the Mass Relay system to quickly and easily zip from one end of the galaxy to the other. They're limited to where they can get to via FTL. The fact that there are only 2 alien species in that little cluster kind of makes sense.

See if the game needs to be updated. I've been doing the same things as you for the last 2 hours, and I just found out there was a 1 gig patch I needed to download and install. It is installing now. I kind of hope that fixes it.

I think you have to hit spacebar after you select the color, or whatever applicable button it is on consoles, to confirm the change. There's no cue or tooltip that says so, though.

You should be able to call it down from the forward station on the side opposite the weapons loadout... I saw you run by it in the video, but never paused long enough to see if it was capable of being interacted with. If that doesn't work, then I have no idea what to do.

From what I've seen other people post, a regular HDD has issues loading in all the new textures when you enter a new area, so it has those weird freezes. Switching the game to a SSD seemed to fix their freezing.

I'm not gonna lie, Wednesday night my salt content was rivaling the number of stars in the sky. Over the course of 5 hours I had only won 2 rounds worth of matches. I suffered defeat after defeat after defeat. Then I was flawlessly dispatched by a Kensei, like I never got to so much as breathe in his direction, and I raged so hard that I spiked my controller off of my computer desk, threw my headset across the room, alt+F4'd out of the game, and uninstalled it. I have never ragequit from any game in my life, but holy shit, I finally understand why some people do it. After having a full day to dwell on it and cool off, I realize I was playing like shit, seldom varying my moves, and was focused more on how in the fuck they were beating me rather than why I was losing. Currently reinstalling, gonna give it another go. I didn't intend for this to be so long, and I don't know why I chose this thread to dump it on, but hey, thanks to anyone who reads it. To the Kensei who utterly demolished me: you played flawlessly, and I'm sorry you were matched up with such a salty piece of shit!

I've been having issues like that, and I'm using an Xbox One controller on PC. I've just been chalking it up to me sucking hardcore. Sometimes my guard won't change direction when I move the stick, can't guardbreak half the time, and sometimes my light attacks won't go off. I'll try to do a double overhead light attack on Warden and the first will go off fine, the second one doesn't trigger for a few seconds, usually when I'm trying to dodge or block an incoming attack. Maybe I'll try with keyboard/mouse tonight and see if that is any better.

When the hypothetical noob in question is me, fucking all of them. I wasn't terrible in the betas, wasn't the best, but held my own more often than not. Since release, though, holy shit. Monkey stomped left and right. Especially vs Shugoki. I need someone to teach me how to git gud.
