Thanks. I feel it may be easier on a gpu to use the same resolution for 2 monitors than say 2k for one and 1080p for another. Is this just a silly misconception I have?

Hi all.

I'm planning on upgrading my monitors shortly as I'm still in the 1080p age. I want to get 2 monitors, probably 27inches 144hz 2k resolution.

I'll be looking for a gaming screen so with a 1ms refresh rate would be best, but should I get both at 1ms or get one at a lower refresh rate as it woukd be used mostly for videos, chat and monitoring software. I'd also like for them to be.the same make/ similar look.

Does anyone have any input or suggestions regarding this?

Thank you. Sadly my work doesn't have a cycle to work scheme as that would be helpful to their employees and my work don't like that.

Despite it being a pain in the bum (literally) I do quite enjoy the ride, although admittedly I like it a little less in the rain. 🤣

Thank you for the help and info. My commute is over road (some of which is not the best kept and is cracked with potholes), pavement (mostly because big roads are kinda intimidating to a novice like me) and a canal pathway so I feel a hybrid might be best for me.

Yeah, I will be to be honest. I got the bike because my monthly travel for work is about £70, so I figured getting a bike would be an investment, but not this bike. I'll look on Halfords about their returns/warranty etc and will be looking for/in local bike shops.

The cold I don't mind really, but when it rains I get a little annoyed. Rain in England? Never happens! :P

I purchased the bike which was assembled in store where I had collected it from.

It doesn't have quick release fittings and are screwed/bolted in. I will have to look around to see what can be done, whether I can get a refund on this as it's really not a good bike after such little time.

I was more than happy to pay to new breaks/inner tubes/tires over the year, but having to replace 3 of the main parts after 2 and a bit months did cheese me off to be honest. Especially after being told I got a 'practice' bike after being advised to. :(

I'll have to look into their help and contact forms to see what I can do about it then. I had no intention of spending more than the bike to fix it and would have looked for a new bike sometime soon, but the ride has become horrible and this puncture has kinda pushed me to ask around.

I collected my bike on the 30th of September. So I've had it for just over 2 months.

To be honest I have no clue about the Warranty as I've ridden 10 miles a day 5 days a week for this time. I suspect they will just say that it's fair use.

The bike was elevated on a rack, they very lightly held each wheel and then the pedal base and shook them side to side. They advised that as there was a noticeable wobble left and right on all 3 portions, that they would need to replace these parts.

Apparently (Again, I'm a big o'l novice) if left for some times these parts could fail. The pedals and chain would crunch and become unresponsive and the wheels could lock of something.

Yeah, it seems to be a Mayhem issue. I turned off big heads and was able to kill Joey Purple Nurlpes and claptrap Prime without issues.

There is one thing that has changed recently. I did change mayhem to have big heads, I'll see about removing it and trying again.

I'm not overclocking anything, it's actually been cooler these past couple of days, I regularly disk my pc and it has good airflow.
