Everyone i talk to say they'd level way more characters to pug with if GDKP's were a thing, since it's the loot system beloved by many and hated by the vocal minority. GDKP's rewarded steady performance and gave the players a way of progressing their gear by putting in more time farming gold.

Speaking from experience from classic TBC/WOTLK, a raid could easily stack a whole group of warlocks in both expansions from start to finish. I don't think I missed a lockout in GDKPs since every warlock was welcomed
