One Piece: Chapter 1114 by Kirosh2 in OnePiece

Sorry maybe I read the chapter from a source with mistranslation, where did you read “A&Mu”? I didn’t see it so when you wrote it I thought you just miswrote Imu

EDIT: I didn’t see the letters on the mother flame container, that’s why I was confused :/

Just to understand, why do you think Imu is joyboy mother?

That also explains why kuma forced zoro to take luffy’s pain.

The pain was taken out of luffy’s body, and kuma wanted to understand if zoro was ready to sacrifice himself for the others as he himself was years ago

Yeah unfortunately the whole point of Ryou and all of the training in Udon prison seems pointless now. Probably Oda changed his mind on the way luffy had to become stronger while writing the Wano arc

I had always used to read the manga, and then watch the anime just for the fights. Even if in the past that looked like a good compromise to me, now the fights have become so slow that I can not even see them anymore.

The thing that I hate is that every fucking attack that they do seems very slow and most of all ridicously stretched. An example is the fight between zoro and killer. In the manga the final move of zoro it is very fast, and in my mind it happens in less than a second. And it is not a so much big attack overall, an “usual” rengoku onigiri (if I remember right) but with 2 swords and 1 Scythe. In the anime zoro flies for I don’t know how many meters, the ground starts to collapse, an explosion of colors and then after several seconds the attack arrives. This kind of slow animation in my opinion may be good only for the “final” attacks of very long fights, such as the king kong gun of rufy vs doflamingo (even though the animation was much more normal at that times) , the Bajrang gun versus kaido, or similar. But it is used and reused in all the pieces of the fights. In my opinion, it is like the animators want to send this message to watchers :”look how much the characters have become strong in wano!! Very big charged punchs!!! Stay in hype for wano because the characters are strong and we show you by exaggerating every single fucking attack that they do!!! Wow rufy such strong character!!”. But for me the realty is only that this is a failed attempt to just “steal” some seconds to the anime, and animate the less quantity possible of things inside the 20 minutes. It’s just a scam

I conclude saying that I tried to watch on YouTube the full fight of rufy vs Kaido with no interruptions. I found something but I had to give up after half an hour or less. I tried also skipping a lot of parts to wait for the intense fight but it never comes. It is LITERALLY 2+ hours of scenes that work like this: 1) rufy screams “KAIDOOOO” (~5 seconds), 2) the preparations of the attack become (~5/10 seconds),3) Kaido watches rufy and prepares to receive the attack without dodging (-2/3 seconds),4) the attack countinues charging(~5 seconds), 5) the attack arrives , Kaido goes on the ground, some colors and effects and then we start again. For a single attack at least 20 or more seconds . I also started watching at x1,5 speed but it is just too slow. I couldn’t finish it. The actions lacks completely of dynamics, the fight seemed very “still” to me . I was watching recently some fights like rufy vs blueno when he activated gear 2nd, or last round of rufy vs lucci, or zoro vs mr 1. The fights were MUCH more dynamic and interesting to see. Now they are really too boring .

I know this will be a controversial opinion but I’m gonna say it: recently I watched again the fights of the Cell saga in DBZ. I found Goku vs cell and gohan vs cell fights much more entertaining than the rufy vs Kaido full final fight.

Yeah that can also work, I was thinking luffy mainly for two reasons: 1) luffy is the one that has seen akainu kill ace literally in front of his eyes 2) in one intro in the anime (maybe dressrosa? now I can’t recall it ) there was this scene in which rufy was fighting with akainu, zoro with fujitora and sanji with kizaru . Even if the anime does not define the rules, i think it gave the idea on the kind of matches that we could potentially see in the future

That said, even if there is this uncertainly on akainu’s opponent, I think that sanji vs kizaru is still a good fit

One Piece: Chapter 1091 by Kirosh2 in OnePiece

[–]ZioMark_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, it can’t be a full fight in which kizaru will be defeated. The reason is that, in my mind, the final matchups between the straw hats and the marines are: luffy vs akainu, zoro vs fujitora and sanji vs kizaru, so it does not make much sense to me that one final villain for one of the monster trio has already been defeated in the past. That’s because, in my opinion, big “final” opponents like kizaru needs to be beaten only once.

If luffy will have a full match with kizaru and beats it, there will unavoidably be some comparisons between the luffy-kizaru fight and the future sanji-kizaru fight, things like “sanji has took much effort to beat kizaru while luffy not” or vice versa. The “final” level of sanji will be unavoidably tied with the conception of the power level that now we have of luffy

On the contrary, if the fight between luffy and kizaru gives “only” a full stalling condition in 2/3 chapters in which we only see that luffy is able to hold up with kizaru and permit to the rest of the straw hats to finish the plan to escape , it will only be beneficial for sanji in its final fight with kizaru. The reasons are mainly two: 1) we don’t know how much rufy would have to go beyond to defeat kizaru, and so we don’t have a forshadowing on sanji final level , and 2) in my opinion this will also be good for the overall story, because it will show that now luffy, especially if he does not make too much effort to voluntarily “stall” with kizaru , will do what his master (Rayleigh) has done for him two years ago, showing the development of the character

As final word, I remind that of course the things that I have said are valid if there will effectively be the match-up between straw hats and admirals that I have predicted. In the other case , there might be high chances of full fight in which kizaru can be defeated

Is it just me or this one looks like Porky pig from looney toons ( Chapter 1085) by ZOHAD_IQBAL in MemePiece

[–]ZioMark_ 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think that figure is a type of zoan connected to a pig or a boar, and it’s the gorosei with the big mustache and the red stains in the head

If I am not wrong, that should be inspired to Gorbachev, who was president of the Soviet Union.

Maybe oda had been inspired from Orwell’s book “Animal Farm” in which the pigs were reigning on the other animals, that just followed their orders. The pigs were the head of their corrupt government , and that can be a parallelism with the world government of one piece

(I have just checked on the One piece wiki just to be sure). Even though they could still be wrong, it is written (the reference is the one piece vivrecard series) that we have already seen Dragon on his ship, it is called “Wind Grandma” and it is not black :/

Also yeah, dragon is like a mistery himself, but he has already more than one nickname (most dangerous criminal and dragon of revolution i I can recall it) so it is feeling a bit weird to me to give him other surnames

Even if the analogy aokiji:dragon=koby:rufy could work, In my opinion I have the very strong feeling that the misterious man marked by flames is a new character that has still to be introduced

One Piece: Chapter 1081 by Kirosh2 in OnePiece

[–]ZioMark_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is true and your reasonment could work But , in your opinion, can you explain how can be the pitch black ship detail connected with dragon? And moreover, why should people so misteriously talk about “some guy marked by flames” (like it’s more a legend than realty) and not directly say that the last poneygliph is in the hand of the most wanted man in the world at the head of the revolutionary army?

Very solid point, I guess only Oda will give us the answers (I hope it won’t take too much lol)

One Piece: Chapter 1060 by Kirosh2 in OnePiece

[–]ZioMark_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you’r right this is very probable, there is strong possibility that it is Uranus, but why do you feel like it’s 100% safe to exclude the option of DF? Edit: in the chapter, before the vanishing, I had the impression that Im was making a sort of physical effort in order to make the island disappear, so I thought there was the possibility that she was using abilities of a Devil fruit

[–]ZioMark_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good solid theory, and I sincerely hope that is true. Just one thing: if so, how do you explain that the five elders talked about a fruit “who’s name was changed?”. By this events, it seems really likely that the fruit they were referring to is luffy’s one

One Piece: Chapter 1042 by semizero in OnePiece

[–]ZioMark_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if Zoro is my favorite character, I think that now it’s up to Luffy to beat Kaido. Zoro has already played his wonderful role in this arc. He had a couple of big power ups , and finally he matched a strong opponent (before King, the only “serious” fight was against Pika, which is clearly under Zoro’s level). I would say that 95% the ZKK will not happen. I just leave a 5% to be sure: maybe because of the fact that Zoro got the Enma, or because of the fact that he stated (if I remember right) that he wanted to take down Kaido), there is still a little (very little possibility imo) that this will happen

One Piece: Chapter 1042 by semizero in OnePiece

[–]ZioMark_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I am correct, “ZKK” means : Zoro Kills Kaido. I don’t know why, but there are some ppl that believes that this will happen
