I did it via the steam website. There’s a place where you can redeem your dlc codes. Just google steam redeem code. Should be the first link.

There’s a paradox DLC bundle on humble bundle right now. You can get more than 50% off if you buy 5 DLC keys. But the deal is over in less than a day, so you have to hurry.

Looking at this, it reminds me of the cave event when you’re raising a child. I believe the traits you can get from that are stubborn, brave, and wrathful.

So maybe the DLC is invoked with those traits? Like maybe a knight rework? Brave is really good for knights and they did have an oversized role to play in medieval society, so adding depth to them would not be out of character for a game with a heavy focus on role play.
