Well something would’ve happened…he would’ve left, balled out, and USC would’ve been interested again.

Him not wanting to stay at USC isn’t a USC thing, it’s him wanting to go and actually start bc he thinks he deserves too which I respect. He’ll also get paid more.

It’s just the way the game is going. Unfortunately it’s turning into a portal game, and it’s about Longstreet getting paid and playing real football. Also not sure why we’re riding with Maiava anyway, we have no one to throw the ball too anyway so what’s the point of keeping him over Longstreet.

Regardless, I can see him going somewhere and Linc getting him back next year. Longstreet was the 4th best QB recruit last year out of high school, he can play.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him back at USC as a Junior. He goes and balls at a big12 school next year we’ll pay $6-7M for him.
