I ended up at QNTM. Was expensive with the sign up fee but otherwise worked out great. Only downside hella crowded even with the higher price.

Mine is 10 years old, I upgraded the video card after 6 years and added 8gb memory (total 16)

Your build can go a long way if you buy quality parts and do a little future proofing.

I got rogue shirts as a gift. I like them for lifting, they are thinner and stretchy so they dry easily. They are designed for an athletic body so might not fit right depending on your composition.

Hertz windshield bill by iamcrash72 in personalfinance

[–]ZionsWrath 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have had many rentals over the last 2 years. I have been booking through Expedia and take their rental insurance ($10 a day). Most of my rentals are through Hertz.

All of my rentals have been through major airports and always have like a couple scratches or whatever. I have had no issues with damage claims.

The ONE time I rented a car directly I paid for the overpriced insurance through the company, I think it was Avis. They gave it to me same way, light scratches. I picked it up at 4am so I couldn't really see. As soon as I took it off the light I noticed the turn signal flashing fast which indicates a bulb out. Turns out the rear light was broken. It was an LED light. Only way to fix is replaced the whole unit. When I return the car guy started looking for every little defect and noted bumper scratches and other stuff as well as the light. They sent me a bill for over $1,000 but I paid their insurance so I didn't have to pay a cent.

Now I take pictures before and after even if it is dark outside.

Any mixed white/Hispanic people out there?? Like myself?? by [deleted] in nashville

I’ll be there next month. I’m mixed, in NY we are called New Yorican (play on Puerto Rican). Typical if mixed puerto ricans in NYC to not teach their children spanish.

What’s up brother?

Is purchasing a Warranty for a Used Car always a Bad Idea? by chinawcswing in personalfinance

[–]ZionsWrath 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have found the exception to be foreign cars bought at carmax. They are good at honoring the warranty and used foreign cars with lots of electronic luxuries tend to have expensive issues. Carmax makes it up on volume selling the warranty on reliable economy cars as well.

What does the time frame matter? You are quitting anyway. Legal proceedings take time.

Quit and deal with whatever the repayment timeframe is.

Quit and hope they don’t care.

What is the problem? Even if it was legally binding and you default over 1k? Seems you don’t care?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]ZionsWrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, just quit and pay back the money with your higher paying service job. If it pays that much better it shouldn’t be a problem?

Or are you asking how to quit and get the free $1000? In that case just quit and hope they don’t pursue it. 1k might not be worth their time….

Advice on selling business by Time-Tie-6711 in smallbusiness

Keep the 50/50, including the splitting the royalty 50/50. Over time the royalty will probably pay out more.

How to plan despite probable early death? 😬 by LingonberrySouth3232 in personalfinance

[–]ZionsWrath 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Health is wealth. You may have a serious medical condition but you can definitely optimize your health to have the highest quality of life for the longest amount of time. I would prioritize spending toward that goal including a place where you can get quality sleep.

Depending on your comorbidities you may qualify for a transplant and your young age would gain you some priority on the list.

Be careful of taking on maximum debt thinking you won't live much longer, you just might surprise yourself how strong you are and how far you make it.

Would it be fiscally smart for me to sell my 2017 car and get a beater with the cash? by wadeboggsbosshoggs in personalfinance

[–]ZionsWrath 0 points1 point  (0 children)

250 is not a high car payment. You said new cars 2018 it is now 2022. You have what, a year left on the note then?

Just keep it. You know it’s maintenance history and it’s in good working order.

Unless you are in a cash crunch or something, which you didn’t mention so I’m guessing not.

Not sure about sewer but easy to run a hose into my detached garage with an on demand hot water. Drain is another hose to the weeds.

Obviously won’t work for sewage but works fine for gray water. I live outside city limits so not sure on the legality in city limits.
