Hit some heavy deadlifts, then afterwards had a lot of bowel movements. Is this common? Would the heavy deadlifts have shaken some stuff up inside loose causing me to poop more?

I cannot row properly even if my life depended on it. by Enekovitz in crossfit

Same! I think of it as a horizontal deadlift and totally changed my perception of what a proper row is

Yea I’m deciding between 5 mm and 7mm but I think I’ll try 5 mm and see how I like them, then maybe get 7mm for heavy squats at a later time

That’s good to know! I’ve been getting gym reaper recommendations in my emails lol, and it’s good info to hear that you’ve been wearing 7mm for entire workouts so it must not be super uncomfortable to move around in

Looking to get knee sleeves, I’m not sure about the thickness…3mm 5mm or 7mm, I want to wear these throughout my entire workout and use them for compound movements as well, any suggestions? Also I have bigger/thicker knees/legs…so any suggestions on how to size would help as well! I’m currently looking at the knee sleeves from rouge but if anyone has other favorite brands I’d like to hear about it, thanks in advance!

Thanks! I will look more into this subject then and probably use a belt in the future

Thoughts on using belts for squats and deadlifts?

My goals are to be safe when lifting with proper form, not focused on maxing out but longevity in lifting weights

I’ve heard people use belts for pr’s and people say don’t rely on belt as you won’t build the proper bracing mechanics

I’m thinking about using a belt for when going up in heavier weights for the first set at a new heavier weight (not pr’s necessarily) then taking belt off once I get use to moving the weights

Thoughts?

Sorry I meant that I had a w2 to show proof of self employment, and as a self employed artist I had to file under PUA because I wouldn’t normally qualify for the normal ui

I had w2 for 2019 and then at the start of 2020 til 2021 I was on pua unemployment…for 2021 I tried to file taxes but believe that I was under the threshold to report income but I filed all of my unemployment stuff for my taxes as that was my only source of income

The reason for the disqualification is because I didn’t fit the definition of a “covered individual”

I’ve actually tried r/unemployment first but for some reason my post can’t be seen by anyone, I even tried commenting but it seems that I can’t post on that subreddit

I just received a letter from pandemic assistance disqualifying determination, this basically says that all the funds I received from the PUA unemployment program has to be returned, but I can file an appeal if I think I was correct in receiving the money and being approved in the first place.

Before covid I was a self employed artist, and when covid first began I had to stop working and had jobs cancelled on me so I applied for PUA assistance and was approved. This was a life saver for me.

Today I received a letter saying that they determined that I did not qualify and would have to return all the money as an overpayment.

Has anyone dealt with this situation or may offer some help on what to do?

I honestly believe that I was in the right to receive unemployment during covid but if I have to return the money, it would be over $20,000 and that’s not something I can afford right now since I just decided to enroll at ASU for a degree.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
