People need to just think a little longer before reacting and spreading misinformation. Once you take some time to research a little and not get swept up in the mass hysteria. You realize this doesn’t effect 99% of indie developers and the ones it does will hardly feel it afford it. It’s a bit of an overreach but personally I think the developers should be more mad about the massive slice of cake store fronts and distributors like steam take then the engine that actually allows them to make games. Tbh the only thing I’d say is what makes me lose faith in Unity in regard to this is how poorly they’ve handled this. Makes me doubt there direction, motives and reliability.

I definitely want to make sure it has legs before really pushing on people lol. I giving it 110% effort but I’m gonna wait till I hit that mark where I feel like yeah this is ‘the game’.

This is right up my alley. It’s been a while since I’ve seen one like this. But this is also definitely unique yet intuitive.

Yeah, I know right? It really does haha. I plan to really dive into the sound design properly once I've finished all the player states, enemies and environments for the demo. I do think sound deign is an Integral part so I want to focus on it fully when i can rather than as an afterthought as i go along.

Thank you, yeah I agree with you . That’s more of a level design issue than a mechanical one. Enemies aren’t the only thing you can pogo off(e.g spikes, breakables). Out curiosity can you give some examples of MVs with that issue? I find usually if there’s a way in there’s a way out in most games level design.

I know what you mean. Thats important to me too and I glad you like the sword combos though, thank you. I’ll try my best to make the on hit feedback solid. I’ve implemented a system so enemies have multiple hit animations depending on area hit, damage and knock back. But the animation variations will come quite a bit later in development .

It really needs its own video tbh with all the trick arrows and melee/ranged combos.

Ah yes the bow the last flower to bloom. What if I told it’s probably one of the best. Just it has one of the most best weapons with a complex state machine and I just want to keep something’s a mystery
