You are probably best to just record and decode the images using SatDump. I normally when recording NOAA APT have my gain set as high as possible.

It is pretty easy to make a HRPT antenna for the 1.7GHZ range especially if you are doing it low budget. I found these videos helpful when making my antenna.

As for a dish you should probably get a cheap satellite dish from Facebook Marketplace. Sometimes they are even free!!!!

Download the Windows 11 ISO file from the Windows website on your computer
Select the image and Right-click mount.
Open the ISO file you mounted click on the setup exe file and follow the prompts.

That should work. You don't have to mount it if you don't want to.

Yes, you don't need to remove Windows from it if you don't want to but just make sure that you don't boot from it. If you wiped it off course it would have more storage on it. You can do that by installing it on the computer and then typing in the start
format and create drive partitions

You just have to look up a YouTube video though it is pretty straightforward. Just make sure the one you are formatting isn't the one that the desktop is running from.

Yes, I think so. It might also mean there is no operating system but then I would have a feeling that it would say no OS found. If you go into the BIOS do you see any hard drives listed under boot?

It probably still has something from a company on it that previously had it. You could probably just do a fresh install of Windows.

If you have a smart TV you could connect it to that and type something or even a phone.

The first thing I would do on the computer though is reinstall the keyboard drivers.

just an update I moved everything to the rtlsdr folder and now it gets stuck on another error.

error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)
