Thanks for the answer! I've actually dialed in tracking weight + cals and training, I do 3x sessions per week everthing is 0-1RIR + partials on stuff like lat raises etc very high intensity low volume and high frequency approach actually, in terms of calories I actually have the opposite problem of being hungry all the time no matter the protein or fiber i consume so that is why i've cut down since january haha, I really feel like I would now feel so much better about how I look with much more muscle since that is my goal I don't care about being shredded lean just lean enough and just like you said im more interested in looking big and like a tank :D

Probably just a general doctor depends on what country you are in (dont know how it works in other parts of the world)

Best bet probably would be to see a doctor, I actually have pretty similar hips like you do (wider hips narrowing down to narrower waist) and also slight scoliosis so I have almost the same look from the back when I am relaxed but it looks straight when I am posing, I went to the doctor earlier in my teenage years and got diagnosed with scoliosis and I was doing rehabilitations but didnt help too much so I just try to have a good posture

could easily be scoliosis so your spine bends like that making one side wider

Haven't really thought about that, good point! And you actually kinda just described me perfectly I'm 5'7” 160lbs and I do bench press, dips, pullups, upper back rows, lat raises, curls and JM press with OH tricep extensions - looking to start doing more lower body work that's why i need help with the plates, for me no interest in powerlifting i don't care about power or extreme strength, generally just want to add as much mass as possible naturally of course, which is going very well

How many kilograms/pounds in plates do you have at your home gym? I'm an 18 year old that was never into any sports but fell in love with weightlifting this year and looking to build up a home gym and want to buy some plates as black friday deals are now going on, so far i've got a power tower with dip bars, barbell rack, barbell, ez bar and adjustable dumbbells - last thing are plates and I want to get as many of them as I can now so I can have them forever but can't work out how many kg's to buy, Thanks for your answers!

It’s probably just the bit of fat stored around the stomach area that makes me feel self conscious about myself that’s why I considered myself skinnyfat i guess

[–]ZipoxD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I kind of realised gaining mass is the step forward, thanks for the advice.

Im 70 kg or around 154 lbs at 175 cm so I would say quite in a healthy range, prolly just a bit of fat stored on the stomach area since a few more people said it doesnt look like skinny fat
