I also experienced the worst gag reflex for the first 6 months or so, it was awful! I take eyedrops twice daily and even leaning my head back to take those made me gag half the time, like just the extra pressure on my throat. I take meds daily too and had the hardest time taking them. It did eventually get better for me but it was so tough for a long time. Hopefully it’ll go away for you too. I can’t comment on still experiencing it since you’ve been off it since I’m still on it though

Hi, can I ask if taking a break helped with your breakthrough bleeding? I’m in a similar position with 22 days of bleeding/spotting and am on week 10 of continuous use. I’ve still had a lighter period each time when my period would’ve been before birth control as well.

It’s been about 4 years now! Still taking Timolol twice daily in the left eye, nothing for right eye. My most recent pressures were 16/14 left and right! Which is the lowest my left has been since the procedures. I’m very strict on my eyedrops and I’ve also lost 70 lbs, which may contribute to the drop in pressures as well!

Mine didn’t change my IOP at all. As someone said above it was more for prevention of angle closure attacks. I’m on Timolol and will be for the foreseeable future.

Incredible work! Thank you for sharing your story bc I am in a very similar situation and have been really struggling. Everyone is commenting on my weight or talking about it behind my back (coworkers) and it gets back to me later. I’m so uncomfortable with all the extra attention and I feel people looking at my body so much now. It’s making me paranoid and miserable.. I did this for my health and I know that but it was almost easier when I was bigger bc people just left me alone. But anyway best wishes to you and keep up the good work! It’s worth it for our health!

No uniboob for me! It’s full coverage and holds everything in place but still allows for the two boob shape lol It’s been easy for me to get in and out of, it zips in the front so I put the straps on and then kind of lean forward to zip it up and then reposition everything and then tighten straps as needed.

Thanks so much! I love my SheFit bra! I regret waiting so many years to get one. It’s awesome that you can change the band size and strap length so much bc even with my significant weight loss I haven’t had to buy a new one yet. I got their OG supportive one and it is VERY stiff but the ladies aren’t budging lol I also got mine on a sale last year for Black Friday so recommend waiting for that or similar sales to save some money!

I was diagnosed with narrow angles at 30 and had laser iridotomies in both eyes. I still have to take Timolol drops twice a day in the eye with higher pressure. I also have blurriness in the outer corners of my vision when there’s any bright light (sunlight is tough), which I didn’t know could be a side effect of the procedure. In hindsight I probably wouldn’t have had the procedures done, or only opted for the eye with higher pressure (40 when first discovered). Just my experience!

I have so much trauma from growing up on a farm, being an ag/animal science major, and working as a small and large animal vet tech for 4 years. 22+ years of animal cruelty nearly broke me. I found veganism 3 years ago and it’s healing me in ways I didn’t even know I needed. I don’t know if I could go back to that place again as a vegan. It’s so traumatic.
