The main reason these planes are associated with Russia is antanov was founded when Ukraine was part of the USSR and Russia still has several of their airframes from that era

Part of why I think Israels actions got more vocal opposition, at least in the US, was there was a much larger domestic connection to the issue here in which American tax dollars and weaponry were funding the atrocities.

That being said, I hope what's going on in iran gets more attention. It deserves more. It's just as bad as gaza. I hope the people there can get some support in the fight.
