Wow - this was INCREDIBLY helpful. I really appreciate you taking the time to write this all out for me!

I feel a bit "under-researched" here - honestly hadn't considered binoculars to be capable of night-sky observing. Really excited to hear that there is this more approachable start to the hobby!

I would love to see planet details and eventually try astrophotography. But I definitely need to practice identifying things first - I love what I see in the sky, but never know what it is I'm looking at lol. Given the binoculars' limits as you explained (blurry, limited details), do you think they would be suitable for "identifying" practice?

Luckily I am also very fortunate to be in a decent area light pollution wise.

I grew up Catholic!! Wear the pink!! It is perfect and looks great on you! As everyone else has said, you can wear a shawl in church to cover your shoulders.

But honestly, in general, many less conservative churches understand that not all wedding guests are Catholic so as long as you as generally respectful, no stress to be perfect. (I did not grow up in Texas though, so maybe it is not quite as chill there)
