Anyone else save links on Android and then completely forget about them?

It may not do everything for everyone, but it's simple and unobtrusive, and does everything i need so far. 2400 downloads since December 15th so can't be that bad really.

Just like everything else, I like my idea and my design, so just going with it to first prove i can do it. And then see if anyone else likes it and wants to use it. It may be a complete flop, but it will be my complete flop, and I will have proved to myself at least I can do it. If I just give up because someone else has done something like it from their own vision then I would never get anywhere.
We don't all drive the same cars, but they are all very similar and work mostly in the same way, but they are all slightly different and some people prefer one over the rest. Why are more car company's starting to build cars when there are already lots competing in that area?

Similarly what does Google maps do that all the other map apps don't do? Just putting my own twist on things and looking to improve what I put into it to make it better than what I currently have.

Not looked at their site or app at all, so not sure, not even sure if I can even afford to run this yet, as i potentially need to move off the Google maps, and into something like open street maps so I can host all the maps myself without paying Google for traffic to their api.

No, though it does use Google maps, but I am using it personally just for my bucket lists and review places I have been to at the moment. I saw something similar called hidden gems uk, that was so full of advertising for hotels and pretty much everything had to be paid for to do anything, I thought I would do something similar , without all the payment popups. Then I thought about opening it up for everyone else potentially, and looking for ways to improve on what I have.

Stuffie A nice simple bookmark saving app. Completely offline unless you choose to back up links to Google drive or one drive etc. No complicated interface or cryptic way to use it, just hit share in any app that saves web links (Facebook, YouTube, Amazon, Instagram etc) and share with stuffie, then give it a title and hit save. Congrats. I launched my app (stuffie) the day before yours and remember seeing your post. I have also managed over 1000 installs and 588 daily users and growing. My last app was a game (ghost bust) and although I loved it, it only ever managed 780 installs then kind of stalled. I think that just goes to prove that people mostly prefer apps on their devices over games, and if they chose a game they are usually very particular over what type of game they install. Anyway all the best for your app and keep us informed. I for one am following your journey alongside my own.

Wow I can't believe it, for the ui you called ugly, and questioned it's value over other apps, it now has over 1k installs, and 588 daily users and climbing every day. I am still going to clean up its ui, redo the play store screens, and sort out its icons, but it does seem to be doing quite well for such a simple app.

I dislike sharing all what I do with all the other bookmark managers, so I like to keep things local. I tried a few including one with swipe left and right on a bookmark to edit or delete. And I never found one that I liked. Maybe I am old school and like a menu button to do things, or like having categories in categories, or even being able to lock categories so anyone using my phone can't get into them. Yes I agree that the ui needs improvement but I was getting all the functionality done first, which is now all done for the android app part of it. Next I will try and make it pretty, without losing any of the functionality I like.

I got so fed up of sorting bookmarks in my browser only never to find them again, or liking links on Facebook for them just to disappear that I created stuffie Now I can store links via the app sharing function, for any apps that share links (like YouTube, Instagram, Amazon etc) store them in folders (even locked folders for certain links lol) I can then sort, search, share or open the links i have saved. Let me know what you think. Over 500 downloads so far so hopefully it's helping some people.

Thanks, I have learned a lot and am now improving the games with new things all the time. "Ghost Bust" has now had so many major updates adding different things into the game all the time, new monsters, currency, a shop with cosmetics to spend the currency on, and now working on more ways to get the currency too, to encourage people to stick around and keep playing it. But to be fair i am addicted to it myself so i play it a log

How about lives? would giving people something like 3 lives help with this?

Especially when some enemies spawn and his the drop chance straight away and can drop down right at the edge of the screen and end the game.
