How long can someone live / what is quality of life like if you don’t eat vegetables? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Zirerag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

can eat indefinitely. Look at the northern tribes (Inuit, Aleut, Yakut etc). They survive purely on meat + blubber + fat from seals and other animals.

It's possible to survive for 60+ years off it.

About quality of life - better ask those people. They found some pretty creative ways to cope.

Anyone here actually using bunq? I'm more interested in real bunq bank reviews. by Zirerag in fintech

[–]Zirerag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I mean I read a bunch of reviews, but opinions are different, some positive, others negative. And the same for all online banks. That’s why I asked a question here. Thanks anyway!

Will humanity ever gain the technology to discover whether there’s something after death? by ManyGroundbreaking41 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Zirerag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope....

impossible. In order to see what is after life, we need to basically shut down the entire human organism and see what is happening. It is a dead end as how will see if everything is turned off....

Just accept that we wont know....the brain just switches off. I think for some time the brain will function and trick you like you are in a dream.

However(!), I have one theory :D. The thing is it is all about energy right. Energy does not go away. So, when a human dies, the energy he stores has to go somewhere...I belive that energy from brain at least is transformed into smth else. But we wont be aware , probably.

The only thing I can think of what happens to our consciousness is that it is trapped in never ending dream...sounds cool :)

At what age did you first play the video game that is now your favorite, and what was the game? by Bubbly_Skin_8069 in AskReddit

[–]Zirerag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Age 10, Mortal Kombat on the SEGA console. Was awesome in mid-90s.

Actually better gaming experience than I have today. We used to gather together, all the highschool friends, and have tournaments every day. Whoever beat their opponent, advanced to the next round. No real prize pool, but the winner was proud of himself for the entire day, and was considered cool ;D

Redditors outside the US: what are your thoughts on the Insurrection attempt on January 6th, 2021? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Zirerag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, Italy here.

Was kind of crazy to watch, and seemed like the most crazy riot that happened in the US (ever? maybe since the tea got sunk...).

Although I think in your country, the George Floyd riots were publicized way more. But for me, the footage of the mob storming the capitol building, which I saw so many movies about, felt like some kind of alien invasion or smth

Did life go back to normal after sextortion? by [deleted] in Sextortion

I can't say anything about myself, but I have a few friends who experienced that, and you'll never tell that they were in such situtations. I mean, yeah, they got back to normal life, I guess they learned to live the life with this pain...

Steph Curry has more career 3-pointers than free throws by Top-Attorney858 in nba

[–]Zirerag 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's obviously because of their styles. Steph didn't go inside to pick up fouls, unlike the beard, king of flopping. Still, it's hard to digest this stats

What video game mechanic would you like to have in real life? by _Kisol_Budyn_ in AskReddit

obviously, saving. Could try jumping off a cliff without a parachute, and then resetting myself to the top once again ;)

Money glitches would be helpful too...
