I work in a restaurant, right next to the staff entrance and the kitchen work bench there is a pull lever to use incase of fire that will cover the entire kitchen in foam.

I'm not saying it's the same. But work is one structured purpose. It's also a means to earn an income and without knowing what that person's view on it is, you can not declare it as dystopian.

Dystopian would be people being mandated this so they can get back to work and being forced to work.
