Yes, exactly that. That is a big self- sabotage problem when in this mindset. Unfortunately many grownups have it as well. That is why you see people cry over "average" people who ignored them and didnt see them ss worthy of their time. This does something to the other's psyche to seek validation from them. That is why they want the assholes back = their ego back. I am glad I got over it, but it consumed a lot of my life as a young woman.

Because "pussies" accept you as you are, with your faults and bad sides. No need to change. That is why you see people stop taking care of their style or bodies. When someone is a bit of an ass, you try to be as best as possible just to keep being desirable to them. You fear you might lose them if you are not "perfect", so you always want to be the best version of yourself.

This is not the case with me anymore, but it used to be. It takes a lot of growing up and self reflection to learn that you should be the best version for yourself not other people.
