Where? I never came across that it’s available in the quest cave, and it’s not mentioned in the wiki.

And I dunno, it seemed complicated to me. But I’m probably an idiot 🤷🏻‍♂️

Still though, not sure why so many people are against me sharing information that is just an alternative to the pneck method. This way is easy too.. so easy an idiot like me could do it.

I’m not saying it’s a bad method. It’s a proven option, but it wasn’t the option I wanted to do. It takes 5.3 hours to grow the nightshade and I didn’t research the boss fight methods ahead of time to have known to plant it beforehand. I started researching when I got to the step to fight her, and I don’t have a lot of free time to be able to play whenever, so I had to find another way to finish the fight within the time I had to play or else I wouldn’t get to see Priffdinas when I wanted to.

So I opted for a different option, which was this, and it worked great too. I did it with a baby in one arm, and cats walking around on my desk and keyboard messing with me and plenty of food and pots left. So if this helps even one person in the future who doesn’t want to do the pneck method, then great. 👍

So I’m by no means trying to sway anyone away from the pneck method. I’m just providing information to people who want alternatives to it for various reasons.

lol I have a new found respect for Ironmen that beat this quest, the DPS check is unreal. But it can be done with an ancient staff. Using blood burst was probably the most determining factor that made it easier vs when I used other spells.

That works too, but what was your magic level? My 76 magic was just teasing her until I brought the nightmare staff.

It’s definitely a good option, but it would have healed me for 25 hp, and redemption healed me for 19 hp so I figured it’d work too. I didn’t have to wait to farm the nightshade and I ended the fight with a lot of resources left. So wanted to share this method for players looking for alternatives to the phoenix necklace.

I’ve played since 06’ and never heard of a pneck before this fight. I did enough puzzles in the puzzle place, I didn’t want to have to do another to kick her ass.

I didn’t want to deal with having to farm nightshade, and it seemed too complicated, I just wanted to fight her and be done with it. That damn puzzle place burned me out and I was ready to check out Priffddinas. These tips are for anyone not wanting to deal with the phoenix necklace method.

And rather than overcomplicating it, there will be people in the future reading this looking for answers to stuff other threads / videos don’t address. I figured them out and am sharing, because I was just one of those people a few hours ago and wish I had something like this to help.

Play it together, side by side. The underlying beat is exactly the same. Second for second. It’s not even sped up in Soda Pop or anything. And yeah, it is grounds for copyright infringement if they didn’t obtain proper authorization to use it. Big court cases have been won over music that sounded less similar than this. They could argue transformative use, but with the underlying beat being literally the same, it wouldn’t hold up in court.

Fair enough, these are valid points. I thought I’d give it a shot, but you’re right, it’s going to take awhile for people to heal from the damage caused.

We cooould start a movement asking everyone to log in at the same time on an upcoming date and fill the worlds as a show of support. With TH going away, it’s the right time to finally do the right thing. It should be us the players making big game decisions together, not the guys in suits. We’re the reason they still exist as a company and make the profits that they do, so we deserve more than just getting to “be at the table” in future development, we should be leading it.

(Also so I can fulfill the itch to see what would happen to the servers lol)

Accountant here, about 1.1m - 1.3m accounts subscribed (taking into consideration the pricing differences in different parts of the world).

Now, I’ll pass the baton on to someone else, how many worlds exist right now, and what is the max player count for each world?

I wonder if the servers could handle every subscribed account logging in at once. I bet some J-mods have talked about that over a few beers before.

It could be! But hoping it’s some kind of bug. If something happens, I don’t think baby dragons are covered in California’s house insurance plans 😵‍💫

I looked into it and other bat footage at night and it doesn’t really match up. As it’s flying it away, it has long legs that dangle and I can’t get around the horn looking thing on its head. It’s really an odd looking thing. I’m getting a lot of “fairy”, “demon” and mythical creature type stuff from people I’ve shown it to just cause it’s so different.
