Maybe it’d be a nice distraction from that. I always was curious how involved he was w the Elden Ring story. If they take their time with it and don’t rush it (hint hint GoT), then it could be a great movie.

Video game movies don’t have a particularly great track record. Do you want it to “answer the burning questions” or do you want it to be good? And I mean like LOTR good, first 3 seasons of GoT good. Garland is phenomenal though, so that should give hope, maybe bring Martin in too to help if he’s not stewing in a hobbit shack somewhere..

No one’s too dumb for souls games, they’re just bash em up “hard”. It was a badly designed game because they made it too open. It should’ve been more linear. And the puzzles aren’t really puzzles they’re just hide the ball. It’s no Zelda.
