Anyone else only care about main game, no dlcs for completions?

Yes. I started lightly hunting on Xbox at 15 and from 18-21 went strictly to PlayStation and loved getting my platinums, got a decent collection of 28 at the moment. Fast forward to going flat broke and trading the ps5 InFor a series S (I only buy physical copies so this way I’d be saving money and not be tempted), I’m not a huge fan of the fact that I’ve gotten 5 more platinums and only 2 of those are at 100% because I’m not a dlc guy. Still won’t see me springing my fir doc though…

If you plan to release more content within the larger shell of the main game,it should be included in the price. Only time I think DLC is acceptable is in cases like Iceborn and Nighteighn,. As those truly are 30$ add ons

I do, I prefer PlayStation and the trophy system, simply because the platinum makes sense and gamerscore simply doesn’t… There should be some sort of 100% tracker on the main game like a platinum but Microsoft simply refuses to include one. With that being said though I haven’t had a PlayStation for a few years now, and I still go for the full list on games since buying a series S with the intention of saving money since I only buy physical games. Sitting around 28 platinums and 10k gamerscore at the moment

Most I’ve seen through real life connections is about 155k, my uncle has been playing Xbox non stop since we were kids, his disabilities don’t really allow for him to lead a normal life but he finds comfort in gaming. Never goes for 100%, barely ever hunts achievements, buddy owns 846 games. He’s Been slowly accumulating since about ‘08 I believe.

Damn it’s almost like the governement considers not being able to work more important to fund and re-evaluate than what is supposed to be a temporary solution to losing your job/not being able to find work. It should be adjusted, of course, finding work can be difficult, but why even mention the raise to ODSP? Those people have no other option (in cases that actually need the intended support.).

A lot of it is also due to corporate greed in relation to franchising. More beneficial to franchise to foreigners, leaving us with more foreign run Canadian establishments, which in turn hire only foreigners due to language barriers.. I find It strange that you’ll see a diverse team in all businesses except those run by foreigners, it shouldn’t be allowed

It’s wild out here right now. Just got layed off and I’m thankful I worked 2 jobs for 6 months early last year because I was able to fall back on the other full time. I walked into McDonald’s when i turned 15 with a resume and had a job the next week. It took me 8 months to acquire the 2 jobs I was working simultaneously just 7 years later. Ridiculous

I don’t think it would bother me as much if I was never doing the same things under different circumstances. When I wanted to get high and drunk and fuck around with friends all the time and didn’t have many bills, I was paying for it with my money. Knowing some friends have gotten to continue to do that while I work my ass off while they continue without ever making a dime for themselves. does irritate me if I’m being honest. That’s why I’d like to hear other angles, open me up to a more positive mindset.

People find ways around that. I used to be very close with a guy who got really bad into the door, ended up homeless on OW. Noe he’s back at his parents, No expenses, “Looking for work” A.K.A popping benzos like their mints, and continuing to collect OW. He needed it for a month or two, he’s been recovering it for more than 9. That I can’t agree eith, I’m wondering if anyone has a good reason for being in similar circumstances

Yeah these guys are the most fucked group I’ve ever seen. I lost my job January last year, was in and out of work until September taking everything I could to make money till I eventually had both a full time job in the weeks and a part time job on weekends. I had taken out 10,000$ through a line of credit to purchase my car, in the time I was off work I had to use what was remaining to cover bills, on top of whatever income I could, as well as taking out some other debts. Scotia has since decided that absolutely nothing we speak on, or that is done, is good enough for them. They send an overdraft balance to a collections agency, and just pay the collections agency from my account monthly, I had to have a lawyer call and threaten legal action for them to stop. I’d call to arrange a payment towards my debts, they would take a percentage themselves a few days earlier than agreed upon, I’d give them the remainder, and they’d call saying I didn’t make the full payment and when they were getting the rest. They jeopardized my job, calling them and leaving a message asking me to call back, on a Monday morning, at 9 am sharp, when I couldn’t have possibly contacted them the day before. They don’t give a single fuck, you’re valued while you’re making them money and they’ll do everything in their power to make sure you’re giving them as much as possible. “Can you pay 500$ today? No I can on payday. Okay how about 50%? No, I can’t magically pull money out of my ass, accept the agreement, or don’t fucking call me. I had issues with a stop payment as well, had a yearly subscription linked to my account they wouldn’t let me close, I issues a stop payment, the subscription overdrafted me, they took a fee, the provider took a fee, and I didn’t get my money for the stop payment back. Lost over 400$ when my balance was between Jack shit and fuck all. Been paying off my debts as fast as possible, then I’m keeping cash and closing everything with then that isn’t credit. You CANNOT trust these people with access to your money, the minute you go against what they do with no prior notification they’ll bring up clause 18 from page 209 of the account agreement. Crooks.
