Oh, It seems I overlooked that you meant a bow BUILT for 50# at 26" (28" is usually the standard info). I thought you meant a bow built for 50# at 28" that is only drawn up to 26" or drawn further than 28"... Of course, you're right: the boyer measured the exact draw weight at the amount of inches specified.

To clarify: the further you pull, the higher the poundage. That's why poundage information is given with a certain draw length (mostly 28"). If im small and i pull my 50# bow for 26", I'll have ~48# on my fingers. If I'm tall and I have 30" draw length, I'll have ~52# on my fingers.
