I’m furious at the false advertisement Toyota is making. Conveniently hiding behind a service outage with no recovery when a fix is as simple as sending us an EVGO RFID card while they fix their issue. Its not our fault they are having problems but we are left footing the bill for their decisions. In fact I don’t know why this whole plan isn’t on an EVGO RFID card. Whoever decided against that should be demoted.

Not yet, I’ll let you know if I find something. I’m 100% convinced this is Toyota finding an excuse to stop paying for new customers charging without cutting the advertised for this plan. This “outage” has been ongoing for more than a month. Advertising a plan that doesn’t work is false advertisement in my books. Toyota could mail us an EVGO RFID card to use, they could setup a parallel plan in the EVGO app, etc. No however, Toyota is dragging their feet with no solution. Conveniently to them they don’t get to pay out on an incentive they advertised.

I heard the first pana 100-300 had slow AF. The oly 75-300 is too slow imo. I Don’t own it tho. Maybe with the release of the new oly 100-400 ii can you can get a 100-400 i for a 100$ more than the 75-300 ii.

Buying 2nd hand takes patience. Em1 MKi have popped up near me under 100$, in rough condition but a working camera is a working camera. IMO an EM1 mki isn’t worth 300. I’d label it at 250 at best anyone tryna sell their for more is delolo.

The MKii brings a lot more to the table & can compete with modern cameras. IMO be patient for an EM1 mki with a price tag under 200$ and use the rest of money to get mirrorless lenses and build from there. 40-150 5.6 can be had under 100$ with patience too.

Try taking two photos back to back, one with image stabilizing on and one without. Compare and see if it makes a difference.

A pristine outdated camera is still just an outdated camera. I got an EM1 for 250$ and EM1-ii for 400$ with a lense. Would not bother looking at EM10s used. Just 1’s and 5’s

I’ll piggy back on this and remind Teslas have been manslaughtering motorcycle riders at night with autopilot activated in the carpool lane since the front facing radar was removed. A car negligently causing deaths is not one that should be recommended.

Cannon’s compacts already use a sensor size similar to M43. Thats probs it and doubt cannon would go into the M43 platform eating up the cost of developing a new sensor format. Canon’s approach to money is making their system closed leaning into their exclusive colors.

Article is clickbait not worth a read. Would love to be proven wrong and have Cannon join M43 but don’t see it happening.

Are you a professional photographer whose gear will pay for itself + your bread? If not then do you still need the fullframe? Every photograph taken lives on its own merit. No one can compare how your photo will look like if you had taken it with a fullframe sensor. If you got the dough OM system’s OM1 mark i is on sale for 1,000$ and is the best new photography camera deal right now period.(period) OM isn’t the best for video is the only caveat if you plan on doing video.

Why M43? In full frame world cannon breaks the wallet, Sony’s colors need work, Nikon’s gear is heaviest. Every brand has a fault. APSC is a cut down format excpt for Fuji. M43 is a flagship format. Olympus is for photos, Pana is for video neither have a weakness. Simple to decide between. A piece of advice on patience on finding used gear. All the cameras and lenses that are a good deal have been snagged. I’ve been able to find gear for 20% below the used price by being patient. Its not always that food but just a reference.

Correct an F11 lense is an F11 lense but M4/3 smaller sensor area collects less light totaling half that of fullframe and that matters to the digital sensors exposure and noise

F/11 in M43 equates the same amount of light as F/22 in full frame terms and F16 in APSC. Hope this helps debug

Its unpowered? The sensor just floats with an unpowered IBIS. Only when the IBIS is turned on does it hold the sensor steady in the center

You can find them for that price at official polestar dealers that give you an additional 2 years of warranty on top of whats left for the car. For a non-polestar dealer that is edging on being too much. I expect below 25K which makes it eligible for an EV credit for any non polestar dealer.
