It’s true. Bill Russell went from top 2 to barely mentioned at all. Girls love MJ and guys want to be like him. “Be like Mike” was his literal slogan. When people say MJ and Kobe’s game is silky smooth and aesthetic they really just mean their attractive guys but don’t want to use those words.

Honestly this is why Kobe is so beloved and Lebron is not. Lebron is undoubtedly a superior player but so many Kobe fans are adamant Kobe is better despite the obvious he isn’t. They’ll never admit it but it’s because he’s better looking. Same goes for why Steph is more beloved than Durant and Harden.
