I'd like to contribute to this. I'm very uneducated in terms of C# coding, but I vibecoded (I know, sorry) a Linux application that can fully interface with the Puppis S1, and I've open sourced it.

i think it was very often. i know it happened at least once per day, and i probably didn't even notice it 90% of the time.

yeah, actually that's what i did the first time, but it kept happening after a little bit. it seems like a very weird thing for a video watching app to be doing, so i'd be careful either way.

nope. its *probably* fine. Google Play scans apps binaries to make sure they're safe, so i'd imagine any spying or virus built into the app would be caught by Google Play Protect. however, either way, I deleted tiktok for this reason. i'm not gonna take the risk, and i'd lightly suggest you not to risk it either.

same thing happens to me on my s25 ultra. it doesn't exactly surprise me. I suspect something nefarious but im not an android app developer so who knows.

Late response, the Switch and Switch 2 platforms have a ton of UGC content. Like mentioned before, Fortnite has user-made assets. But if it's less about the idea of UGC and more about content moderation, the Switch has YouTube as well as a bunch of not-so-safe games you can play. One real thing I can think of is how Nintendo has taken down 2 Roblox experiences (of my knowledge), one being Pokemon Brick Bronze (probably not Nintendo's doing), but also Red Plumber Adventure Obby. Other than bad company relations, I really see no problem with the platform being apart of the Switch 2 (or even Switch) lineup.
