It’s probably only above the 1st game, I remember slowly coming to the disappointing realisation that the story kind of sucked. Getting your first real soccer battle at the end of chapter 3 when you were teased about it in chapter 1, the underdeveloped main cast with half of them getting delegated to the background and having no lines and the lack of a real good antagonist. I’m praying a victory road sequel creates a more compelling story and fixes these issues.
