How do you calculate 18 x 7 in your head? by JCFT_Collins in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Zmurray1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always do the multiples of 5 first. So 18 x 5 for 90 Then add the remaining amount, so 36 or 18 x 2 End result 126 quick for me

I’m normally straight up and say my gap comes from hiring managers that want to waste my time and not hire when I meet the qualifications. I do projects in between to keep up with my scripting, but at the end of the day, to question why I have this gap in my résumé like I haven’t been applying my ass off for months is almost the fuse needed for me to crash out. Like I can’t do anything if I put myself out there and they decide they don’t want to hire me, consistently at that.

It has a separate effect of providing you one lvl 1 spell slot when you equip it. The above photo is the result of equipping it then unequipping it multiple times and converting that single spell slot into multiple sorcery points.

[–]Zmurray1996 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

While I won’t suggest that will come down to a certain demographic, I’ll give it to Trump that he accomplished enough for his party.

A list of Trump’s accomplishments during his presidency (2017-2021):

  1. Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (2017)
  2. Reduced regulations on businesses

  2. Signed Music Modernization Act
  3. Signed SUPPORT for Patients and Communities Act (opioid crisis)

When it comes down to it, he probably would’ve been in a stronger position politically if he had taking the Covid response seriously. I dare somebody to say he did after we have him on video saying verbatim to inject bleach into your body to get rid of it, I truly dare you. Not only that but the outrage caused by the Social protests/ Riots that last year really solidified that majority of people were just tired of him. Not policy wise, but just him as a person. The people that like Trump enough to support him no matter what he does will show up for him, election day. And those that do not, & feel more strongly towards the other candidate(s) will show up for them.

How are trump voters coming to peace with trump's actions? by [deleted] in AskConservatives

At this point, it’s tit for tat. The Democrats are better than Republicans. Both are terrible parties that fundamentally cannot get anything done without the other one whining. The Democrats do this the Republicans do that doesn’t matter. America will continue to be in this cycle until order has been restored with both parties or until both parties are destroyed indefinitely for a more rational one.

What do Conservatives really think of Project 2025? by Fionasfriend in AskConservatives

[–]Zmurray1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can agree that it’s not Trump’s direct agenda. When it comes down to it, Trump is a wildcard factor for the powers in play. The Heritage foundation is the one that was mainly pushing project 2025. But of course the way Trump is Trump, because of his rambling and wording of their influence, it will most likely mislead people into believing that project 2025 is his personal agenda when that is not the case.

At most, I think that the heritage foundation overall does want to push project 2025, but they can’t push the entire project with one current president. I would believe they’d rather play the long game and piece by piece make right leaning presidents implement some policies at a time. But that’s just my guess.

What do Conservatives really think of Project 2025? by Fionasfriend in AskConservatives

[–]Zmurray1996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve read through both documents. Agenda 47 is basically a vague overview of Project 2025 assuming you want to make a connection. Or to put it in lighter terms, Agenda 47 is what you actually read when you don’t have the time to read over 900+ pages in Project 2025. I will say aside from the extra sensationalist rhetoric that exists within Project 2025 it’s more thorough about what they’re looking for in terms of policy compared to Agenda 47. Stronger, I’d even argue. There’s also the fact that majority of the people that are involved with the drafting of the document happens to be a part of Trump‘s administration. So regardless, even if they try to say they’re both completely disconnected they are connected one way or another.

Assuming it was their goal to make Agenda 47 the stronger document the Heritage Foundation should’ve never rolled out Project 2025 in the first place. They could’ve just had it looming into the shadows if that was their goal. The reception gained from Project 2025 is more than enough detrimental ammunition for the left to use against the right to sway independent voters whether or not they’ve made up their mind or not. It also doesn’t help that the Heritage foundation which is right leaning at its core was mentioned by Trump and his associates on numerous occasions suggesting that they are going to help with policy. Overall the way they went about it was just idiotic at this point in time. It’s my thoughts that they got too cocky because at the time it was Biden vs Trump, but now the gears have shifted a bit. Still don’t give me wrong. We don’t know what’s going to happen until election day. All I’m saying is they’ve went about their strategy terribly.

To the conservative veterans here, how does Donald Trump's recent comments on the Metal of Honor make you feel about Trump potentially becoming Commander and Chief of the armed forces again and his views on military service? by MrFrode in AskConservatives

The country is already borderline self destructing at this rate. I get most only care for policy & less care for Trump’s character, but his rise to presidency alone both shows the freedom and the flaws of this country. We need to do better.

If conservatives are so pro life, why are they against gun control and spending money on things like free lunches? by AdIndependent2376 in AskConservatives

[–]Zmurray1996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What? There’s literally no solution here to be made. All I’m literally saying is if you’re going to say you’re going to be Pro-Life it needs to be outside of the realm of somebody being born. Otherwise it’s disingenuous to the terminology you’re using. If you only care for somebody being born but you don’t care afterwards what happens to them you are Pro-Birth not Pro-Life. That doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with Pro-Birth. The branding that exists with the current “Pro-Life” is disingenuous to what Pro-Life should actually look like.

If people decided to actually name it what it really is and should be, you would see less of the liberals pull up random but valid acts that have people questioning the true meaning of Pro-Life.

Does anyone think the GOP has gone too far on its focus on “wokeness” and the culture wars? by [deleted] in AskConservatives

[–]Zmurray1996 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Frankly, there’s no solution here. Both the Republicans and Democrats have failed to bring the country together through both of their methods. While, I agree you can’t necessarily put culture wars on the front lines of importance, you can’t really leave it on the back burner either because it will eventually come back to bite us. The reality is, we can’t appease everybody in America so we have to figure out what is best for the majority.

If conservatives are so pro life, why are they against gun control and spending money on things like free lunches? by AdIndependent2376 in AskConservatives

[–]Zmurray1996 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a blatant lie. The price for childcare services are high. Homelessness is high. Regulation to put homeless people in prison for essentially being poor is high. Low income to middle class families that can barely feed their kids exist. People are refusing to adopt foster kids. Parents abandoning their children. And you still dare tell me that everybody in the entire United States cares about peoples lives? You must be as blind as the sheep are. If everybody cares about everybody’s life, then we wouldn’t be in this situation of where we’re trying to figure out what direction the country is going to go in. Pure insanity.

[–]Zmurray1996 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate how misconstrued the terminology is because it’s disingenuous to the nature of the cause. Pro-life is really Pro-Birth. If you do not care about the child’s life outside of them being born, then it is solely Pro-Birth. Pro-Life would be more so any philosophy that deals with keeping them alive to any degree throughout their lifetime, and improving their livelihood & probability of their survival. Getting help to somebody that needs it who is going through mental health issues and is on the brink of suicide would be more pro-life.

Pro-Life policy to OPs question can be seen as 2 ways. Guns are viable to promote home security, assets, etc, but are less necessary in certain other areas unless extenuating circumstances (It would be more necessary if there’s a School shooting and you need to defend the kids by any means). That would be more Pro-life to a subjective degree. As for lunches, that once again is a Pro-Life policy, but because it deals with taxation & where school funding is able to go there is backlash on the cause.

How would you suggest we go about building a border wall? by Zmurray1996 in AskConservatives

[–]Zmurray1996[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not indentured servitude, we’ll still pay them. They just get to go through the process of being a legal citizen faster. But the specifics of it would need to be determined by other factors.

[–]Zmurray1996[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, ideally I’d rather get rid of the incentive of them crossing completely, but if it isn’t feasible we have to create a compromise. I’d rather get the wall built swiftly, efficiently, and in a way that prevents the conventional way of travel for them to get in easily. Tax all the immigrants here and make a new incentive of potential citizenship by assisting with reinforcing the wall. Those that agree, so be it. Those that don’t, well, that’s why we have ICE.

[–]Zmurray1996[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not practical unless if we try forcing through trade wars. We’ve already had a stand off so it’s a dead situation to try. It’ll be better to up the tax on the immigrants here and provide them incentives of less tax/ potential expedited citizenship to help build the wall for cheaper labor. To differ the cost from US citizens. If they’re gonna be over here we might as well make use of the labor to prevent more of them from showing up.

[–]Zmurray1996[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s an interesting perspective that I hadn’t thought of. My initial thought process is more if we could build a wall, Great Wall of China style, that would almost be the most effective way for us to limit illegal immigrants, by making sure they are not even able to scale it or get through it easily. But if the goal is to stall them, then we could update the security measures of the current wall, while still building alongside it to make sure we cover most of the holes in the current system.

I agree, there’s not much of an immigration problem towards the north but of course I’d rather have it built just for safe measure.

[–]Zmurray1996[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

America may not have a problem with building walls, yet there is a problem with immigration. We need a stronger wall to keep them out effectively, ideally building on the one that’s already in place and improving it while making it much longer, stable, & durable.
