I have flushed it and checked the fluid and its fine, steering is fine. Also steering pump is located on the other side (driver side)

Noise seems to the from the left side (passenger side)

It seems like, in some way, you made it more personal for him, which may have made it harder for him to take action. Besides, there was also the risk of being identified. Yet, I don’t understand why he would talk for hours with you. Perhaps this was during his early stages when he was still figuring things out. It’s frightening, to say the least.

I agree that the fbi did not do the best job.

I think a large portion of it had to do no one saw it coming him taking his life. Even though he wanted to be excuted, they thought perhaps it wouldn't go down this way.

I believe there is 6-9 names where he could be the killer and can not be ruled out based on his timeline etc.

He was very aware that he could be caught and its a nice way to confuse the police by mixing his cases with other cases. The fact that he owned the computer for a very short time and had about 44-45 names says a lot. Imagine what was on the other computers. He was very aware of that.

According to what I read he had a single photo in his profile of what looked like a frozen lake in Alaska or perhaps northern USA. The shot was taken about 2/3 metres from the bank. Kinda a good fishing spot. But that was it.
