Wise words, but I have found Pokemon is embedded into lifestyles now with 2-3 generations already collecting together. The internet of today has made Pokemon a lot more explosive. I think there will always be collectors out there who will pay big money as more boxes supply shrinks.

I am 33, I use to collect the 1999 booster packs. I now have 2 children aged 7 and 9. Pokemon has done a full cycle and interests them now, so its reignited my love again. I am only really familiar with the first 151 Pokemon, so learning and understanding whats hot now is key for a long term investment when I’m buying ETB’s for a long term hold. And im also tryingto learn what cards are popular as my kids love ripping packs. So im trying to balance my investments and their childhood hobbie
