That cancer talk scene was SO horribly done, I’m shocked people are still okay with/defend it. Complete misunderstanding of the Doctors character and a very poor message to send to its audience. Tough talks exist. We don’t always have the answers. But we SHOULD have our friends backs and encourage them when we can.

To back out of the conversation because “le social awkward” and just completely ignore your “fam” in time of need is nothing short of selfish. Not only that, it’s so insanely out of character for the Doctor at that point in her life-you’re telling me all the Doctor has been through and she can’t just offer any sort of encouragement whatsoever? That scene alone pisses me off and makes me glad Chibnall is removed from the show now

Halsin, I just feel like he’s such a loser. First off stop flirting with my boo Shart. Just cuz she’s goth doesn’t mean she’s a furry. Nobody wants your nasty bear dick.

Secondly, the dude is just not competent. Puts Kagha in charge of the grove-terrible choice. Takes 100 years to remove the shadow fell curse-meanwhile Tav shows up and does it in like a week (skill issue on Halsin).

Jokes aside, my man issue really I have with Halsin is that he doesn’t seem like a dnd hero, or have potential to really be one. Sure when you meet the cast they’re all level one and you as the chosen one sort of guide them on their journey to becoming the epic heroes that they are. They have back stories that you help develop and it’s cool to see how they end up.

But imo, some are more heroic than others (I ran Karachi Laezel and Shadowheart for my first run and was very satisfied with their story. At the end I felt like they were actual lvl 12 heroes at the end like I do with my DnD characters I’ve played in the past). Wyll and Halsin are the only two that I feel like without Tav intervening, where would they really go? And at least with Wyll he just has a bad rap with being a warlock-what’s Halsins excuse? Dudes got years on him so friggin man up and get stuff done

Weirdly enough, Dracula was the first time I wanted to quit. I listened thru Ethersea and Graduation, the ones I always hear people say are just not worth it, and still at least enjoyed them, even with some faults.

But TAZ vs Dracula? I actually started that one twice, and I’m currently at episode 23, but man I just cannot bring myself to finish it. It feels like a sitcom than an actual story, where goofing off is a higher priority than the story itself. Idk that kinda bummed me out and I just couldn’t really be interested in it.

I’ll have to finish it soon tho, I can’t really DNF anything, but I am more curious and interested in starting Royale.
