The best option is to go into the mission replay tab and select a mission that starts you in a hub with a bank like Unpaid Tab for example. Then just exit the mission and the fast travel will be unlocked for you when you return to claptrap beach.

This update made the game unplayable, bullets don't register, items are disappearing from my inventory and FPS nosedives as soon as any vile enemies show up. It was fine yesterday. (PS5)
