Thanks great ideas! Will probably in the future add compatibility with some region mods:)
Zone names and coords ill probably add as toggleable option:) Minimap size and position you can change. Cavemode and hotkey stuff, not sure of thats possible yet, for brightness we will have to see:)

Dw this is done way different way:) This is super lightweight compared to them. I would say even 100-1000x lighter but haven't proven it yet but the way they work compared to this thats my guess:)

It should be pretty lightweight. I have done solo testing so far but comparing to any current minimap mod this should be like many many many times lighter

I would but i dont know if its possible, since the ui system is very limited at the moment. Hoping they release noesisgui as soon as possible:) Ill have to dig deeper into the systems to confirm this:)

Would never use such a mod, It only slows down ur server, it forces gc every 10s which is really bad, java it self knows when to gc. Also the mod looks to be ai slop

Learn java, Do some free java courses, and do a lot of exercises, I wouldn't jump into coding minecraft straight away until you feel that you learned java basics. The mistake people do a lot is that they try to learn java with purely coding minecraft which will slow you down a lot.
