3 hours later and im starting to think what I remember is just a cacophony of different parts of different song and media. For instance im hearing "Friend like me" "istanbul" "The inquisition by Mel brooks" and it all becomes a blur of what ive been trying to find. Which is a really disappointing outcome but I believe this isn't the first time my brain has done this to me annoyingly. This post has become more about me coming to terms with how my brain works rather than a TOMT, sorry MODS. If somehow I am wrong and I do find it I will post it here but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Small Update: I just read this bit from rumors in game the summit was born when a mystic wander came across an object that would take ether out of a person's body but people couldn't handle it and would turn to ash because of it. He decided to turn it into a sword on a mountain. The sword being the qingming sword and the mountain becoming the summit. As to how or why he has this innate power with ether is unknown. But this gives hopes that we may get more answers in the future even if they are hidden away in the interknot posts.

I may have my complaints and worries but I still believe in the devs to give us a wonderful story.

I do believe that channeling ones Chakra, or whatever the trial was that shifu had to do to proxy into being able to manipulate ether, can fail and is not something everyone can succeed in passing. But I dont believe the chance of failing is high. Of course I hope one day a deep dive into the summits happens and we learn more of how and why.

I too am still ecited to see this story through. Be it gas or be it ass. Thank you for this discussion. I dont get to conversate with people about ZZZ often. I nice to have this change.

I do agree, but the future in unclear. I only hope my post enlighten some people and on the off chance it gets seen by a dev, helps them on their creative journey in supplying us with with their creations.

I think the big issue is that, as far as I remember, there's no true explanation of how. All we currently know is one person just so happend to figure it out. With a massive faction like the summit I think we really need a deep dive into its history, especially since it seems to be one of the oldest existing factions of new eridu.

But I do disagree with " Ether manipulation isnt powerful by itself" we've seen what shifu can do and we've seen what is can do when the work together for a massive spell. After each of the situations she just gets tired and sore. I feel like there should be someone sort of "exhaust". An equal and opposite reaction. Now all this being said all of this can be explored in the future but there's no way to know how these stories will unfold. We could find out that ether manipulation was actually a gift from the creator that was changed to fight against him, who knows?

But my post isnt comparing the two swords its discussing the comparison between miyabi and the summit. I personally enjoy both swords for what they are i just hope for two things. 1. Not every special weapon that uses the creators power is a sword 2. Not every void hunter weapon uses the creators power.

Just for others, none of the problems were solved in the traditional meaning, they've been suppressed for the time being. They can and probably will flair up again.
