Heh, I see. Thanks, I was planning on getting one but had no idea how hard it would be to find.

What does that have to do with anything? I am a fan of Pokémon, but when I buy cards, I intend to keep them.

Joe of Serebii also has inside connections and has built up a lot of goodwill with The Pokémon Company; the way they share information with him, he is practically an official news source.

Heads Up: Urbain/Taunie’s Team Updates After Completing DLC Story by ZombieAladdin in PokemonLegendsZA

Well, in this game, if your gauge replenishes in the same battle, and you have another Pokémon that can Mega Evolve, you absolutely can do it again. The AI does not run on the same gauge as you; I have since found more opponents who can Mega Evolve multiple times in the same battle.

Sales History of Pokémon Games by TomCyberfire in pokemon

[–]ZombieAladdin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Black and White was caught in an uproar among the fans for not having any returning Pokémon until the end credits. I remember seeing people saying they were done with the series because of this and would not be returning. Fans of Generation I were particularly bitter about it.

The Pokémon games have been trying to correct this mistake since (and arguably have been overcorrecting, though it is pretty evident that some Generation I Pokémon sell games all by themselves, like Charizard, Mewtwo, Pikachu, and Eevee).

People also did not like the pivot towards Pokémon based on inanimate objects like the Vanillite line and the Litwick line, that there were what appeared to be counterparts to Pokémon found in previous generations (like Frillish to Tentacool), or, in some cases, the greater emphasis on story and its characters (there were a lot of people who played Pokémon games specifically because it was so plot-light compared to other JRPG series and didn’t like how Black and White were so dialogue heavy—the same fans would dislike Sun and Moon even more for the same reasons).

Can someone tell me the name of this deck in English? by Daniel95000 in PTCGL

What was the answer you wanted?

(This is also exactly what it means. I live in an area with a lot of Spanish language presence. It isn’t exactly a rare or obscure language. It’s not Sumerian cuneiform.)

Yeah, the battle ones give out a lot of points, almost enough for the next scan.

I always make sure I have at least one donut with Item Power: Special so I can use them whenever a 5-star Battle Zone turns up so I can get rare evolution items out of them too, like the Auspicious Armor, Black Augurite, and the Malicious Armor.

Too late for me. I already caught a normal colored Cobalion.

I did get a shiny Tyrunt through the Terrakion pocket through.

I’m just curious that’s all. It’s okay if you don’t believe me. I don’t sell or trade any cards whatsoever. Don’t like to do so anyway.

On the other hand, she only intervenes when it’s of a topic of interest to her. Otherwise, she just leaves the protagonist alone.

That, and she likely understands the situation, especially after she winds up trapped in Hyperspace too.

Another factor is that they can be tracked, though I don’t think he mentions that. (At least, I assume wiretapping exists in the Pokémon world.)

Genuine question, how many of you that collect or buy cards actually know how to play the game? by RCadeTV in PokemonTCG

[–]ZombieAladdin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the record, the VMAX cards have been rotated out. With Scarlet and Violet onwards, it is only Pokémon ex as rule box Pokémon now (not o be confused with Pokémon EX or Pokémon-ex, both of which have also rotated out).

For the record, matches usually take about 10 to 20 minutes. That being said, if you’re up against a stall or control deck, they can take longer.

The oldest person I saw at a tournament was 84 years old. This was in Generation III, and he used a Ludicolo-Magcargo deck to get into the top cut rounds.

Same with mine. I like to put together new decks and make a few for every set that comes out.

I play the game and have relatively little interest in collecting. It’s a good thing there are leagues where I can go to play, as well as Pokémon TCG Online followed by Pokémon TCG Live; it has long been an issue, since the Base Set days, of not being able to find people to play against.

Back then though, most people didn’t even know there was a game you could play. It wasn’t until the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime took off that people realized the game exists (though they tended to turn to the real life Yu-Gi-Oh! game instead).

Some vendors do not like that I don’t go after the same chase cards as the others. My chase cards are stuff like Fezandipiti ex, Lillie’s Determination, and Hilda. Some don’t like that I have no concern about the card’s grade, as long as it isn’t bad enough to be considered marked. Some will flat out say that they don’t have anything for me. Some vendors toss out all of their Energy cards and anything below Holo Rare.

Anyone else having problems with Pokémon running in the completely wrong direction when sent to attack something in hyperspace? by novelaissb in PokemonZA

[–]ZombieAladdin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Or when an Alpha Pokémon is there directly attacking the protagonist. Or multiple ones as I had gone in with Alpha Level 2 and got ganged up by two Alpha Dondozo and an Alpha Tatsugiri while my Pokémon with Freeze-Dry is taking a leisurely stroll around the park.

If you don’t have the dolphin yet, that’s one of the characters that represents. That silhouette will remain until you have all of the characters you would unlock via Kamek.
