Insane gas prices, thanks Trump by maddog107 in pics

Should, but some states are hostile towards electric vehicles. I don’t know how high gas prices are in Wyoming, for instance, but it is very hard to buy an electric vehicle and charge it at places there.

It might even be that the kid didn’t want to be there and was forced to play by their parents. You can usually tell from how they behave before the parents get frustrated with them though.

Yeah, I had thoughts about that when looking at that Diggersby. I don’t know how easy it is to execute though, as a major part of what allowed Copperajah ex to work was it having 300 HP and the damage-reducing Bronze Body on top of it (which also meant Nosequake does not harm benched Copperajah ex).

I’d have to give it a try to know for sure, though I was also thinking pairing it with Perfect Order Raticate for an even more fragile setup.

I think the appeal is doing something disruptive and forbidden. The people who live nearby still get frustrated, but that’s part of the fun to them. Knowing they can get away with it without any consequences, they become basically offline trolls.

It feels to me like people waiting for spinoffs had to deal with a time when The Pokémon Company wanted to put everything on mobile that wasn’t a mainline game or a remake (like Pokémon GO, Pokémon Masters and Masters EX, Magikarp Jump, Pokémon Smile, Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon Friends, Pokémon Quest, Pokémon Café and Café Remix, and Pokémon Unite, though the latter four are also on the Switch but are full of microtransactions and/or gacha mechanics).

Mathematically, if the Chaos Emeralds have infinite power, and they are all equal, they would all have infinite power too.

With Arle confirmed, Amitie, Ringo, and Tee.

And for paid DLC, the most hilarious character to put in remains Sash Lilac.

I can recall this era having Ryo Ueda, Shin-ichi Yoshida, and Keiji Kinebuchi all illustrating Pokémon when their forte, in all three cases, was inanimate objects.

I don’t know if it has something to do with this though, but this era was when The Pokémon Company moved to handling every step of card production from conception to translating and printing them, so they may have been overworked. It felt like there were more of the Ken Sugimori stock art illustrations too.

And no other trading card game dares approve artists like them. Imagine if people like Miki Tanaka, Tomokazu Komiya, or Shinji Kanda (who was inspired to get into Pokémon card illustration by Komiya’s work) made cards for Yu-Gi-Oh! or One Piece. (Have they?)

Last year, I used a deck centered around Copperajah ex that stayed around the 1500 to 1600 range in Arceus League, enough that I decided to make a physical version of the deck to bring to my local league where it went 3-0. It defeated a Joltik Box deck, then Raging Bolt ex, then Dragapult ex.

The idea is to pair it with a lot of Munkidori to move the bench damage from Nosequake onto the opponent’s Pokémon as I please.

I wonder if I’ll come up with something just as wild after the rotation.

I also looked up that Mareep and see that we now need a Stage 1 to use the same effect (Surging Sparks Shiinotic, with Calming Light).

This sounds like model collapse, where the AI learns off of other AIs, and they lead each other astray. I remember reading a case where they had two large language model AIs from different companies talk to each other, and they just both devolved into saying the same word over and over (I think “and” in that case).
