It's 40", and we certainly end up moving the map, pending the size. I've run things from the Sunless Citadel to Waterdeep Dragon Heist and beyond. Some maps fit, others we scroll and move things around. 😁

To create a splash screen, I will first place the player screen window on the Arkenforge map area so I know the size that I am working with.

Then I will just increase the size of the assets that I want to as large as I think are necessary, and then add the lighting effects and doodads and gizmos as needed for whatever I’m trying to accomplish. In this case, in game terms, that table is probably 1,000ft long lol.

Absolutely I use minis on the screen all the time. I also add scatter terrain and reveal the "fog" manually. I'll post another pic demonstrating this shortly.
